    These rings look so elegant and are so good looking! I am just now teaching myself how to wire wrap, at 71 years young! I can’t wait to give this ring a try! Thanks for the amazing tutorial!

      I just did two of them! Not very well though
      First day doing wire wrapping, it is VERY tricky

    I love it!! A lot of the easier-to-make wire wrapped rings I've seen tutorials for look kind of cheesy, but these are really nice!!

    You can do it. It's kind of like when you first start walking you're going to have a couple stumbles until you start running. Think of all the pieces that you'll be able to make instead of buying them from someone else for full price. See it in your mind

    I like this. I have a ring I made way back and since lost a lot of weight. Been wanting to re-work it and this idea I think will be interesting as the stone is long, beautiful green that works perfect with copper and improves the look with the natural oxidizing. Thank you:)

    I was wondering if the wire you use on this is alot easier to work with cause ive tried to make this ring with wire i have and it just didnt work very well it wasnt for easy to wrap without harsh kinks in it thank you

      I always try to use dead soft wire!

    ⁰This is a great little ring pattern. Do you find the colour comes off the coated wire products if worn continuously?
    I have antique bronze and it wears off really easy if worn near the skin for any time.

      I honestly don’t know. I haven’t tested the parawire coated wire. Bare copper would work well too!

      It's harder than it looks 😂 I also used the wrong wire. My wire was too thin and tried wrapping that before starting this project.

    I've noticed with a round bead the herringbone gets a little loose once I've worked the shank wire around the mandrel. Is there any way to stop this or snug it up. Or should I use thicker wire for the herringbone.

      I use 20 gauge for shank wires

    Hi, I came across your channel by accident which I'm glad I did. I watched a lot of your videos you are very talented you make very nice jewelry.
    I would like to give it a try I have never worked with wire I know nothing about wire. You make it look so effortless but with me I'll probably waste a lot of wire.
    But I'm going to attempt trying it. What wire temper should I buy? also does it matter what brand I use or should I buy what's in your viedo? Thanks for sharing.

      Definitely get dead soft if you can. Practice with cheap wire. If it’s not dead soft then you will really appreciate dead soft later!

      You can make these with any type of wire you want like silver or gold fill.

    I am trying so hard to do this week but every time I do my beat slides around. I'm using a round on a 18 gauge wire and was trying to wrap 24 gauge around. I'm holding it both of my wires. Keep bending as I'm trying to pull tight and the wire that goes around the bed keeps smashing into a mess. What am I doing wrong?😢

      Try smaller wire.
      20 gauge and either 26 or 28.
      I like 28!
