Hi David & Nong, I'm a new viewer and subscriber to both your channels, and found them quite by chance as I watch many travel vloggers around Asia. David I have never travelled to Asia as the opportunity has never arisen, due to family commitments and work. But since the pandemic i think we all look at life differently now, I'm 59 yrs old single and fast approaching retirement. So watching your channel and your content on here, really showcases Thailand and the totally different way of life from here in the UK. apologies for the long message but I felt I really had too, you two look really happy together. TC Steve UK
That was an excellent ride round with loads of triggers and good price ranges. Good to see many of them have lasted through Covid and been around for many years. Sportsman was always a favourite of mine in years gone by but there def some more food for thought there. As always, spoilt for choice.
Yes Keef, through Covid, Nicky's was doing some incredible deals just to keep staff (family) in work. Hopefully the world doesn't need to go through something like that again 🙏🙏
some fantastic choices all within 10 mins walk of where i'll be staying........if only every day was Sunday. Thanks mate, hope Nong Nui is feeling better soon
Cheers Glenn, I'm sure there are some I missed off, but the main ones are there. Hemingway's in Jomtien does the weekend roast, Saturday and Sunday, so maybe the same in Pattaya 🙏🙏
I know exactly the place you're talking about. I used to drink in "boss bar" directly across from the "tin cup" that place was always busy, and obviously, that's a good thing. I obviously know about the place now and by talking to folks, it's definitely a place which is very good and at obviously, unbelievable prices, I personally have not eaten there, but yeah, the " tin cup" has a very good reputation for doing good food"(Thai) for, more or less, next to nothing. Cheap as chips
Hi it really depends what you are after, tyres, tubes lights etc I just buy from Lazada. For bearings and the like I use CH Numchai on Threppasit opposite Soi 10 or Cadence Cycle in Jomtien 2nd road, about 400m after Rompho Market on the other side of the road 🙏🙏
I have a bit of a strange question, if I may. I watch all these videos that show prices at various restaurants.. and they seem to be good for "farrangs" living there.. but are they good for an average Thai person? I mean, can an average Thai person pay 100 Bhat for a sandwich or something like that, or are 100 Bhats too much money compared to an average Thai person's monthly salary or weekly wage or whatever? Just trying to compare to the prices we have here in Egypt. 🙂 Love your videos. Keep them coming.
Hi Hisham, for most Thais a daily income between 300 and 500 baht would be normal. However, those employed in the tourism sector they can make much more, 50,000 to 200,000 baht per month. Massage ladies here, can easily make 20 - 30,000 per month before any extras. For those from the village, a trip to Pattaya beach with a seafood dinner is an expensive occasional treat 🙏🙏
When it was Retox, I never had lunch there but watched an Australian Rugby League grand final and Witherspoons if I remember used to be R-Con, I never had a beer there either but I did on the other side in corner bar. 🙂
You're too fast, David. I was a few seconds from tapping you on the shoulder. You must of sensed imminent danger coming from the rear (no pun intended). 🤣🤣

Excellent video - great reference point for location of all those restaurants. Thumbs Up.
That's great Lebowski...555 hope it helps you find your next roast in Pattaya 🙏
The food looked amazing. And the bike ride was great as well. God bless.
I pray Nong is feeling better, she is a truly lovely lady.
Norman she is on the mend thanks, I think she worked too many hours over Christmas and it took its toll 🙏🙏

Thank you very much ! Looks fantastic indeed .
Great ride around showing us these places 😃😃👍👍
I cycle in NYC all the time but you're a brave man cycling amongst all that craziness.
It looks worse than it really is. As a tourist I swore I would never drive in Pattaya, but in reality it's easier than in the west 🙏🙏
I knew there were good roast choices on the Darkside, but I was amazed at how many choices there are that are so close together in the centre 👍
It's a pity the darkside is so spread out, as there are some great choices there. Personally we love Suggestions Ian 🙏🙏
Just missed the podium today Ian. A good effort all the same 👍👍👍
@Nicky Boy Thanks Nicky. Sometimes, channels I follow release vlogs at the same time! 😃
Wow !!!!!! I made it first lol Sunday roast is always nice I hope Nong feels better soon
Thanks Stephen the roast at Nest is first class and great value. Nong feeling improved already 🙏🙏

Very useful. I have only had a Sunday roast in The Queen Victoria Inn as i usually eat Thai food but i will try some other European options.
There was a restaurant on soi baukao across from the sports bar before covid. Is it still there ? I think they called it tin cup.

Are the Sunday roasts only served on Sunday?
Yes I believe so, I think Hemingway's do on Saturday and Sunday. 🙏🙏
@@DavidAndNong Thank you
