I watched it the day of thanksgiving and I woke up and heard “six” and when it started i started screaming I was so excited and then started singing. Best. Thanksgiving. Yet.
all of them are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Ive seen every video of them (includng bootlegs,) and i swear, aragon makes me drop dead every time!! Theyre so talented, and they play their parts so well. im sad that they had to have someone fill in for adrea, but this was still great! i hate how anyone who performs in the MDTP has to lip sync, but hey, theres nothing we can do. and i know that theyre just as good live too
Very well done. I hope to see this live someday under 2 circumstances: 1) if my friend conducts (she is the associate MD of the B’way cast), and 2) if there are multiple alternates going on. I would also love to FaceTime with said friend and her cast after the show to offer my thoughts, but I don’t know if that’s too much to ask.

I’m fairly sure they are singing live. Boleyn is an understudy and that’s definitely not Andrea’s recorded voice that she is faking, its her own. It all sounds raw to me.

These actors are always performing in less than ideal conditions (Thanksgiving and whatnot.) It's hard to sing well and dance when it's 20 degrees outside. That's why the music is pre-recorded.

Unfortunately due to “union rules” the alternates have to wear the same costume as the queen they cover. Unfortunately now they’re trying to implement this into other productions of Six (Cruise ships and West End) 😫

Actually, the vocals sound the same. An accent doesn't affect much when we sing, as vowels need to be performed a certain way. If you meant that you noticed the difference during the dialogue, then that's another story entirely.

Example from Six - American: "stoo-pid rhyme", British: "shtupid rhyme"... Some of the other words which sound super american in this are 'revealing', words ending in 'r' like 'all you ever HEARRRR', the american accent is a lot harsher on those consonants even when singing.
They did such a great job! Sad to see Andrea wasn't there as I just adore her, but her understudy was fantastic!!
