- One of the many highlights from our Members Only show at JFK this week. Great to see no less than two A346 Super Stretch Airbus Jets in each day care of Lufthansa. Managed to get quite a number of shots off her including a classic bank shot when they were going out of 31L, but this was a classic shot with the tower and Airport all in shot 💪🏻 she’s a CF6 shod Jet, aren’t those engines something else!
Be still my beating heart, my favourite aircraft EVER! Such a rarity to see an A346 these days. Thank you for capturing this beauty.

Love the A340 and love seeing the Lufthansa on its way passing over the south of England. Reminds me of the Super DC8.
This plane is so sick. The sound. It's sheere size. The restrooms in the back section located downstairs. In cruise mode you almost here nothing. Space enough. 4 engines for an ETOPS independant flight. 💪

Soooo long. Been on one of Qatar's 346s about 5 years ago when I flew from Doha to Columbo. 4 engines are always reassuring.

Jerry, you should no the A340-600 are RR powered not CF6, great rupture there fella.
A340-500/600s are all Trent 500 powered, not CF6.
200/300s are CFM56

The second ever plane I flew on was a fresh out of the box A340....utterly beautiful! The first was a DC-10 and those who know....know 😮😂
