    Thanks for these tips and sharing your experience...Your vegetation comment applies here in the usa too. In my opinion, mineralization that brought in the gold left elements needed by certain plants to grow. Its common here to see those plants growing in the area that the mineralization came in through.

    G'Day Bruce, all good tips great video and I agree no need to buy a detector until you're sure which one suits you👍 Would you be able to explain the process of applying for a SPL, not many video's on this topic. Cheers Kev

      I use the "Australian Geology Travel Maps" app by Trilobite solutions.
      It's available on Google Play and Apple App Store
      It's not free, but very reliable and even works when you have no internet connection in the bush.
      I highly rate it.
      There are others, but I haven't used them so I can't vouch for them!

    Another good tool is a drone.199 dollars that drone will go out 4 k's than return when the single gets weak.
