I use the flexible plastic mesh from orange or garlic bags for the holes. They work great and don’t deteriorate.
Thanks for the excellent tip!
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make this video I really appreciate it.
I have 3 of these in the rock bed in front of my house. I couldn’t identify them looking online and I used a plant identity app. You take 3 pictures and it tells you what it is.
It said it was a desert spoon but the desert spoon had little teeth on each side of the long leaves. So I knew it couldn’t be that.
I got on you tube and your video popped up and I said whoa wait a minute that looks just like my trees out front. It has the exact same truck and truck color and no teeth on the long leaves. I got so thrilled I said thank God for this lady who made this video I finally know what they are.
So thank you again for making this video I was having a lot of trouble trying to figure this out!!!
You’re so kind Seth! So happy you now know what you have. Yucca Rostratas are such beautiful plants😀 The Desert Spoon is also called Sotol real name is Dasylirion wheeleri I added a few to my garden this Spring. Thanks for watching🤍
I see you flexing your muscles picking up that bad boy....thanks for sharing.
Ha ha! Sometimes you have to be a ‘strong’💪🏽gardener🤣thanks for watching🤍
When planting or potting a curved trunk, best if the top portion is completely vertical from all angles for best appearance. Will look more natural.
Nice 🤩
Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks Zap! Happy New Year🤍
I love it. It looks so good
Thanks Crystal🤍 I hope you are doing well!!!
Beautiful yucca.
Thanks so much! It’s a favorite in my garden. Thanks for watching🤍
Oops on my previous comment I meant to say it has the exact same trunk and trunk color not truck.
Sorry about that!!
Thanks again! 🙏 🤠
I live in Weatherford Texas and just bought the house and the yucca rostrata were already here and are about 4 feet tall!!
Nice that the came with the house Seth! They are pricey😀 Congrats on your new home!! And hello to a fellow Texan I’m in the DFW area too.
Yo you aint gotta apologize for the noise, we love a good authentic plant channel 🥰🥰🥰💯
😘
Yes this was so good, loved the yucca but I really loved what I think was a euphorbia next to it. Thanks
@@tomdix8028 Thanks Tom! Its the Euphorbia lactea 'White Ghost' a piece from my 5 foot tall mother plant🤍
Hope you have great day
Likewise Vania! Have an awesome day🤍
I really like that yucca.
Thanks so much Charles🤍
Thank you for this vid, I've just ordered a yucca rostrata "swan river" I think it was called so it's been very useful for me. Good luck with your cactus and succulent garden🙂
Best regards from a new friend in England. (UK)
Thanks Ted and nice to virtually meet you! I love meeting new plant friends🌵I really enjoy my Rostratas! I’m going to look up the one you ordered. I’m excited for you😀
@@CactiOnWhite hi, sorry I got the name wrong it's called Blue Swan.
Great looking Rostrata, is there a good source to reference?
That's a nice plant.
Maybe a terracotta pot might have kept it more stable by the pot's own weight 'cos if it gets windy that could be top heavy and blow over...
Hi Ted, it does actually tip over occasionally. I plan to repot it this Spring,
Awesome! How's this rostrata doing today (just about 1 year later)?
Hi it’s doing great! A few inches taller😀
What a beautiful plant! May I ask where you got it from?
Thanks so much🤍 I go it and my other one from an EBay seller. Let me know if you want the name.
@@CactiOnWhite I would love the seller's name. I'm thinking about getting a couple for my front yard space.
@@TheEnchantedAviary1111 The seller is evarcha. He has different sizes at various prices😊
@@CactiOnWhite Thank you so much!
@@TheEnchantedAviary1111 Found it, like Cacti on white said, evarcha-0
Or evarcha-0 (747)
Did this straighten out? Mine is crooked too.
Unfortunately not. I guess we can say they have character😊
Cuanto vive la yuca rostrata
No sure, but it take about 10 years to reach maximum height.
Where did you buy it?
From a grower in West Texas, I don't remember their name. Will see if I can find it.
