Oh my goodness, so pretty! There are two little dark marks that look like wee little sharks... love it’s natural behaviour... all over this painting! Xoxo
Hi Julie - I live on the west coast, in Canada, and your work really speaks to me. I absolutely love your magnificent free flowing seascapes. You are such a great teacher and I feel blessed that I discovered your channel - you are a true inspiration. Thank you. Jolene
I love watching your videos and for whatever reason, this piece brought tears to my eyes. The movement, the colors, the simplicity and complexity of the way you paint. Absolutely gorgeous piece, Julie. As always, thank you so much for sharing your process with us. If we were on the same continent, I’d be sure to come to one of your classes (if you still teach).
@@katieriley4279 hello katie, such very kind comments, thank you! I am still teaching workshops, I have someone coming all the way from the USA next week!!
@@JulieVatcherArtist They pop up where you really stretch your paint A LOT, would probably ruin your love painting if you did it more so you get these on the top.
Your videos are so relaxing. You made this look positively effortless too! 🤩 I really had no idea how you were going to pull all of those ribbons of color together but the different cell activators were genius.
It’s all in the description under every video. 70% PVA GLUE and 30% WATER. Then I use a ratio of 1 part paint to 2 parts pouring medium, with more water if necessary. 😊
Absolutely gorgeous the colours the movement and the honesty.👏💚🌈
You are on a winner here Julie! The seascapes are just beautiful.
Thanks Jan!!

Love the aqua color and the flowing, transparent, watery look. Can look at this for hours.
Really cool cloud/pearl cells at the side of this painting! 💙🌊☁️
I know!! Why can’t I get them on the top!!!!!

@@TravelerPaints yep, I thought so… the painting I did since this one I watered my paints down and over stretched but I did loose my composition.

Thanks Heather! It’s all about the blending and composition. X

Yes, this was a lovely painting! Thank you x

The cells at the top left look like a dental X-ray.
😂 that’s a new one!
LOVE IT !!!
ME TO!! thanks xx
Lovely shapes. The curse of pitting your fingers in the paint when it's not try. We've all done it 🤣
Lucky it was in a place that was easily touched up!
What is your pouring medium recipe please?
It’s all in the description under every video. 70% PVA GLUE and 30% WATER. Then I use a ratio of 1 part paint to 2 parts pouring medium, with more water if necessary. 😊
Beautiful Julie. Is that the normal liquitex medium or the gloss? :)
Normal xx
