Yeh your in an excavator I've been excavator operator for the last 20 years first thing to do is get your seat position comfortable and use your feet to move the tracks you done fine for your first time keep at it you will be a pro in no time love from Scotland 🤗🤗

I always enjoyed teaching my kids things, brings back happy memories including teaching my eldest to gasweld at 8 years old. You’re lucky to have a dad like him, he obviously trusts you a lot!

She is pretty lucky to have her father explain everything to her while doing this training in under a safe-ish place to his supervision, in my country workers do not have or own excavators only the company they are working with too have them stored and service to maintain them.. so the workers need to load excavators on trailers for each contract.. anyway she learn pretty fast but in order to work on such big tools (excavator, fork-lifter, multipurpose farming tools, agricultural harvester) does not require a special license over-there ? because in my country are quoted as license for Tr-F categhories and are marked in the driving license of the operator who passed the Tr-F exam, only they are allowed to operate & work with those vehicles..

Moving that large rock was a perfect way to learn the use of the bucket.
You will get better over time and be able to get larger scoops in the bucket as you get more and more comfortable in the excavator.

Great content as always! :) next time you have to pick up a stone wile you are sitting on a top the easy'est way to do it is to push it down again if it fails first time, or second time, i have operated excavators and wheel loaders for several years before i become a truck driver, the best experience i have got was to operate a good old Swedish Åkerman H16B LC form 1985, that beast is a workhorse you cant kill it! :)
