- hola compadre's...
as per the very long title, this is a showcase video of a rare old kyosho...
this little gem comes in the form of a kyosho pedal popper... this was a 1980's release that formed part of the hoppin mad wheelie machine series.
time has taken its toll on this poor little kyosho... but its not past the point of saving yet by a long chalk...
thanks for watching, don't forget to subscribe for more vintage rc look backs coming soon...

Another cool RC!! Can’t wait to see more of this.
Funny little car and a great project. Can't awaot to see it running🤩
cool rc,can't wait to see it all fixed up
Certainly interesting to see. That will keep you occupied, tidying it up.
The nitro ones does pull pretty good wheelies once it gets warmed up, though bit of a problem with it is that there is no reverse ofc so if the surface is uneven and it goes off track you'll be doing a lot of walking over too turn it away from whatever it got stuck against.
I wouldn't mind finding one of the electric ones though, which I'd imagine could pull some pretty nice wheelies with a 2s lipo used instead of the old nicd or regular nimh packs & a bit faster motor like a 20t
Very very nice video!!! Subbed! These EP and GP wheelie series were released around 1998. In the 80s, Kyosho had EP only wheelie series, which had aluminum double deck chassis, as compared to the plastic ones on these. They had Mini and Datsun bodies.. I have a video on my channel on my restored Pedal Popper. Look for a green VW bus icon. It has a gt12 engine, I adapted Tamiya VW Bus bodyshell and Tamiya F1 wheels as mine were trashed too. Also I have both EP versions of this (Boogie Box NIB and Trail Blaster built).
I've got one brand new unused used
Ugh I loved this model! Why is it currently more difficult to get a Kyosho vehicle and its spare parts compared to Tamiya? greetings. I have seen that it is easier to find old Tamiya parts and vehicles on eBay. Compared to Kyosho (prices are raised a lot) and there are very few units 😊😊😊
Kyosho had some internal issues a little while ago and haven't really got to grips with them yet
can you give me some measurements for this car?
