Sogetsu Ikebana Summer Arrangements 2017

With weeks of over 30 degrees Celsius and several days over 40 degrees (and half the normal rainfall for summer), only the toughest flowers have survived in my garden. The Canna is one of the resilient ones. All my hydrangeas and roses have been scorched dry. Luckily some Clematis survived because it is under cover. You can smell the welcome autumn breeze in the air.
