Sogetsu Ikebana Practicing Textbook 5: Lesson 4 Green Plant Material

Green is a pervasive colour in nature and there are more shades of green than one can imagine.
I tried to match as close to the colour green in the flowers I used, however, it was difficult to find very green flowers.

Hello, I have a question about the green bird's nest fern you use. Usually when I use them they become soft very quickly. Do you use any special treatment to keep them hard?
