In the English version, there's a basic Tarutaru dialect shared by most of them that adds -taru after syllables ending in -t, and a baby-talkish rhymey-whymey word here and there. Shantotto doesn't use the standard Tarutaru dialect, opting instead for rhymes. A lot of major Tarutaru characters have their own special way of speaking, such as Ned Flanders-talking Koru-Moru or vaguely Old-English -ethy adder Yoran-Oran.

XIV is a VERY large story, like, insanely long, since it expands from the first release all the way up to the current expansion, so I imagine it's likely to happen properly. XI however, is different. Every expansion is it's own story. Rise of the Zilart has as much to do with Aht Urgan as XII has to do with X. They share some names, maybe a few vague concepts, but the story as a whole is totally different. Take into account that XI has the base game, and 5 expansions, as well as 6 add-ons which told stories and added a few minor areas, but was nothing giant, and then the final scenario that was supposed to wrap up the game. So in the end, it's really hard to sum up.
exactly. i'm here for final fantasy parodies, not someone's original story with characters who only resemble their game counterparts in appearance. the fan-fic is fine as a bonus, but it's certainly not what people have been looking forward to most.

Also rab is playing it. He liked it so much that we will have to do many part for the FFXIV nutshell, we had the script ready until Ultima but he thinks that it would make a 40min long nutshell.
@@WiiSage I'm well aware, but kingdom heart's plotline is far more complicated than any final fantasy game likely because the kingdom hearts games connect to each other while the final fantasy games are largely disconnected other some references, Gilgamesh, and 10 and 7 taking place hundreds of years apart on 2 different planets in the same solar system. Actually never mind 12 and the tactics series all take place in the same world. Btw the kingdom hearts series exists because a square executive and a Disney executive met in an elevator and one went hey i have an idea

When the final major XI story update was released (November 2015, with the last chapter of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel), they made available a special version of Shantotto as a party NPC, who looks all powered up, floating with 6 elemental orbs floating all around her - it's like she was looting her world of her major powers before leaving to other worlds that might outlive Vana'diel (she was in Dissidia, XIV's Hyadelin and Dragon Quest X, so she knows a thing or two about multiversal travel) - she didn't even bother with that here...
I was very disappointed this wasn't an ACTUAL FFXI parody.... You can parody the main story quests, the expansion story quests, AND all the game mechanics that make you wanna smash your head against the wall. Also, it did NOT cost $14 a month lol. AND Shantanto would be one of the main NPC protags in the game probably. She's def not an outcast.

The base city missions all funnel you into the same story up til the shadowlord fight which goes into Rise of the Zilart and then Chains of Promatia. Yes, these are all one long story as the events of each directly cause the next. The final story, Rhapsodies of Vana'diel is also caused by the ending of Chains of Promathia and ties all the expansions stories together as well. So instead of sitting here smugly acting like you have any clue what you're talking about, just leave it to people who actually know about the game to describe it.
If S.W.O.R.D needs new members they could just go to the Tactics Advance universe and get all of those unique NPCs that you can only get by beating certain quests and not continuing the plot until they pop up. Like seriously tho, how many people got them in a blind playthrough. The only reason why I could see people getting them without guides is when they're grinding or simply being lucky.

The one Final Fantasy I never played - but hey it’s an MMORPG so I wonder where the guy is that loves going “Leeeeeeeeeeroyyyyyy Jenkins!” Into an area full of monsters and getting everyone killed. Oh wait that’s World Of Warcraft in a Nutshell :)
FFXI predates WoW by 3 years, and was a much better game. Had in-game cutscenes with your character. Was hard as balls, you couldn't solo, or kill anything worth xp past level 10. Had the best stories out of any FInal Fantasy, much less any MMORPG. Death had consequences, if you died you lost 1 or 2 days worth of xp depending how much you were playing, and you could even level down on death. Not to mention you would be spawned back at your Home Point which meant people waited hoping for a raise since getting back to where you were took a ton of time + in many cases required that full group or another classes spell so enemies couldn't hear/see/smell you & aggro. If someone leeroy jenkins they not only would be kicked from group, but from linkshell(guild), put on people's block list, and have a horrible reputation among players and would need to transfer servers or make a new character because no one is risking losing so many hours of work twice because someone thinks they're funny. FFXI was a very challenging & rewarding game. WoW was easy as balls. I played WoW for the free month included with purchase & I hit max level solo easily, and did some dungeons, and ran a raid a few times. I was not impressed and I felt no reward. I did not renew & me and my girlfriend returned to FFXI. I played on PC, and she played on PS2 on the same server. It was cross platform, and servers were world wide with auto translation so you could talk with people from every country easily. Which meant every hour of the day was peak hours in some part of the world so groups were always available. WoW was casual enough to let a guild wipe be funny because it meant nothing to die. In FFXI you died because it was hard af you didn't need someone to pull the whole room, you just had to go face regular content in a PUG

If anything, maybe later down the line you could do a proper in a Nutshell about 11, maybe 14 in parts given the long long story they have that I know somewhat from FFRK's story about going into their records to fix things. Like XI in a Nutshell Part 1, Part 2 Part 3, ect. as their own video with each taking on what can be covered in the timeframe for each up until you finished the game's story with all that DLC, Side Story, ect. story. Just take into account everyone's concerns about this video.

I don't know if anyone else will bother, but then again, is someone makes an abriged parody of XI at this point, it risks being taken as a relacement for actually understanding XI's stories, since there's so little XI lore content out there, considering how few FF fans actually played through the game.
Have u ever played FF11? There's no way to cram 11 separate plots into a nutshell like that, and since it's really hard for most to get into, I doubt he could make it work at all. This was much more fulfilling.

Like I mentioned some defining moments everyone had like reaching Jueno for the first time. The outcasts could of been a party. Have someone die, deleveled and be revived naked because their gear was new for that level and they no longer meet the requirements to wear it. Just general stuff we all went through. He could of even made up his own story arc based on the outcasts

When the final major XI story update was released (November 2015, with the last chapter of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel), they made available a special version of Shantotto as a party NPC, who looks all powered up, floating with 6 elemental orbs floating all around her - it's like she was looting her world of her major powers before leaving to other worlds that might outlive Vana'diel (she was in Dissidia, XIV's Hyadelin and Dragon Quest X, so she knows a thing or two about multiversal travel) - she didn't even bother with that here...

I was very disappointed this wasn't an ACTUAL FFXI parody.... You can parody the main story quests, the expansion story quests, AND all the game mechanics that make you wanna smash your head against the wall. Also, it did NOT cost $14 a month lol. AND Shantanto would be one of the main NPC protags in the game probably. She's def not an outcast.
Her world doesn't exist anymore. That's legitimately what an outcast is.
Also, claiming there's a main story quest means you have no idea how ff11 played.
@@ElshazamReformed No, YOU have no idea how the game played. The base city missions all funnel you into the same story up til the shadowlord fight which goes into Rise of the Zilart and then Chains of Promatia. Yes, these are all one long story as the events of each directly cause the next.
The final story, Rhapsodies of Vana'diel is also caused by the ending of Chains of Promathia and ties all the expansions stories together as well. So instead of sitting here smugly acting like you have any clue what you're talking about, just leave it to people who actually know about the game to describe it.

If S.W.O.R.D needs new members they could just go to the Tactics Advance universe and get all of those unique NPCs that you can only get by beating certain quests and not continuing the plot until they pop up. Like seriously tho, how many people got them in a blind playthrough. The only reason why I could see people getting them without guides is when they're grinding or simply being lucky.

The one Final Fantasy I never played - but hey it’s an MMORPG so I wonder where the guy is that loves going “Leeeeeeeeeeroyyyyyy Jenkins!” Into an area full of monsters and getting everyone killed. Oh wait that’s World Of Warcraft in a Nutshell :)
FFXI predates WoW by 3 years, and was a much better game. Had in-game cutscenes with your character. Was hard as balls, you couldn't solo, or kill anything worth xp past level 10. Had the best stories out of any FInal Fantasy, much less any MMORPG. Death had consequences, if you died you lost 1 or 2 days worth of xp depending how much you were playing, and you could even level down on death. Not to mention you would be spawned back at your Home Point which meant people waited hoping for a raise since getting back to where you were took a ton of time + in many cases required that full group or another classes spell so enemies couldn't hear/see/smell you & aggro. If someone leeroy jenkins they not only would be kicked from group, but from linkshell(guild), put on people's block list, and have a horrible reputation among players and would need to transfer servers or make a new character because no one is risking losing so many hours of work twice because someone thinks they're funny.
FFXI was a very challenging & rewarding game. WoW was easy as balls. I played WoW for the free month included with purchase & I hit max level solo easily, and did some dungeons, and ran a raid a few times. I was not impressed and I felt no reward. I did not renew & me and my girlfriend returned to FFXI. I played on PC, and she played on PS2 on the same server. It was cross platform, and servers were world wide with auto translation so you could talk with people from every country easily. Which meant every hour of the day was peak hours in some part of the world so groups were always available.
WoW was casual enough to let a guild wipe be funny because it meant nothing to die. In FFXI you died because it was hard af you didn't need someone to pull the whole room, you just had to go face regular content in a PUG

If anything, maybe later down the line you could do a proper in a Nutshell about 11, maybe 14 in parts given the long long story they have that I know somewhat from FFRK's story about going into their records to fix things. Like XI in a Nutshell Part 1, Part 2 Part 3, ect. as their own video with each taking on what can be covered in the timeframe for each up until you finished the game's story with all that DLC, Side Story, ect. story. Just take into account everyone's concerns about this video.

I don't know if anyone else will bother, but then again, is someone makes an abriged parody of XI at this point, it risks being taken as a relacement for actually understanding XI's stories, since there's so little XI lore content out there, considering how few FF fans actually played through the game.
Have u ever played FF11? There's no way to cram 11 separate plots into a nutshell like that, and since it's really hard for most to get into, I doubt he could make it work at all. This was much more fulfilling.
@@ElshazamReformed no I know it would be near impossible to do a legit story in a nutshell, but it could of had the MMORPG tropes, but with FFXIs quirks. Like I mentioned some defining moments everyone had like reaching Jueno for the first time. The outcasts could of been a party. Have someone die, deleveled and be revived naked because their gear was new for that level and they no longer meet the requirements to wear it.
Just general stuff we all went through. He could of even made up his own story arc based on the outcasts
