IMO, these Flying Taxis will give Rural Real Estate a big Boost!
Imagine you work in a busy large city by day, and go back to your quiet unpolluted very relaxing Rural Home by night - all made possible because of Flying Cars. Parking and Charging wont even be a problem: You can fly into the city, and have it autonomously fly back to your rural home to recharge. And with an App on your mobile phone, command it to pick you up after dinner with friends.

Not to minimize the noise concerns being expressed by Xiaohongshu commentators, but I think that the noise concerns will go away over time as the technology improves and the utility of drones/helicopters outweighs their downsides. Most people living in urban areas have had to put up with noise and smoke from ICE cars, and we're so accustomed to ICE cars' auditory pollution that 'silent' EVs need to have a noise mode to alert pedestrians of their presence.

Not saying there is no risk, but since regulations and security are very controlled in china due to how its government is structured. This type of development tends to progress safely and more controlled.
But for western democracies, with its liberties, these type of developments will surely be dangerous as enemies of the state can take advantage to use same technologies for destruction. 😅😅😅😅

Until China changes its regulations on civilian air travel, this will not become a success. The regulations for eVTOLs (or manned drone flights) are currently not separate from other flights. They include:
"China requires all aircraft to obtain a permit before flying over the country or landing at its airports. Permit requests must be submitted at least three days in advance (seven is better), and contain the following information:
    -Operator and aircraft information.
-Routing and schedule, including entry and exit points.
    -Crew and passenger information
-Specific purpose of flight (tourist flights not allowed)
-Local receiving party/sponsor information (for landing permits)
    -Sponsor letter (at certain airports)".
Imagine you had to comply with all this before getting in your car and going to the shop.

China is so far ahead of the rest of the world. Like with EVs today, in the near future these devices will be exported all over the world. Note however the comments from the Peking University professor, that one of the goals is to remove imported chips. So for the USA, Japan and Korea, their present policies of limiting exports to China are back-firing. More and more goods that are exported from China to the world will include no parts from those countries. It didn't have to be that way, China offered win-win proposals and continues to do so only to be lectured or ignored.

i really dont get the hype behind thinking flying drones as flying cars. A flying drone is a modified HELICOPTER, which has been around for the past 70 years. When a car that drives on the road when on land and can fly in the sky while in the sky, thats a FLYING CAR.
