Singing this worship-hymn together with kind people is such a great thing! This is a motivation for me before starting with our gospel choir after a long covid-interruption.
It is awe inspiring to me to see God's precious people worshipping in praise and music. He tells us in the Bible to "praise him in song".. how absolutely telling it is that you can fly a continent away and meet folks that have the same heart after God and you can all come together as one in singing and playing a worship song to our precious Father. You were amazing as always!! I am so blessed to see you meet wth like minded people that share your passion for the love of music, but especially for our Father God. He uses you mightily to touch the hearts of his children. What an honor for you to be used in such an awesome manner. But, what a greater honor for us all to be able to share in that phenomenon. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. This is the one of the ways our family of God can build on who we are in Jesus. Keep up the great testimony that you share through your heart felt music. I am sure you must miss "home" by now, but what an impact you have made on us ALL through your travels here in the USA. Much love and God's blessings from Texas.

허비행콕 데려다가 숭실대 기독교 동아리에서 찬송가 반주 시키는 꼴이네요. 요한씨, 한번 쯤 인생의 좋은 경험이라 생각하고 다음부터는 이런 거 하지 말았으면 합니다. 일반인 뿐만 아니라 수많은 음악인들이 요한씨의 재능에 감탄하고 부러워합니다. 기독교 음악을 편곡해서 들려주는 것까지는 종교적 취향으로 존중하지만 개나소나 다하는 예배인도자나 찬송가 반주자위치에 있을 필요는 없습니다. 그리고 코멘트 적는 김에 항상 생각한건데 다른 많은 곡도 그렇고.. 요한씨의 Spain 연주는 Chick Corea보다 더 좋습니다.
요한군에게 ccm이나 찬송가를 편곡,연주하는 일련의 모든 과정들은 단순 종교적 취향이 아니라. 그가 악기를 연주하게 된 근본이고 이유입니다. 신앙인에겐 그런 것들이 명예보다 우선이 되고 더 나아가 전부가 될 수도 있습니다. 그들은 자신의 재능이 신에게로부터 왔고 그리하여 그렇게 사용되어 지는 것을 영광으로 여기는데 왜 님께서…아직 어리고 너무나 많은 비젼이 있습니다. 어떤식으로든 선하고 좋은 경험을 하는 것에 대하여 그의 친부가 함께 고민하고 늘 동행하고 있습미다. 다시는 이런 말로 연주자와 그의 동역자를 욕보이지 말아주세요. 그저 응원하며 그의 행보를 기대하며 기다립시다. 그의 삶에 무엇이 우선순위가 될 것인지는 그가 정합니다. 개나 소 같은 예배인도자나 혹은 반주자들에 심하게 데인 적 있으신가요? 일부를 보고 전체를 매도하지는 맙시다. 그저 사연있는데 극복하지 못한 루저로 밖에 안보이네요.
