i’ve gotten seriously sick, but in this time i’ve finally got to sit down and actually spend time with the Lord, I’ve been dealing with so much fear and stress of the past and future but he’s taught me so much during this hard time and i can finally say i am saved and free. Whatever may come i trust God and am ready for what comes. Praise the Lord!

Yess praise the Lord! 🙌🏼 I'm quite a new believer, I was saved by Jesus last February, after a long journey of searching for the truth (in the wrong places). Also, I've struggled with my mental health (anxiety, OCD) for a long time (still do but Jesus is giving me new strength). Because of what I've been through I still experience doubt/ups and downs in my faith, I find it difficult to really receive the Lord in my heart and to trust him. But when I listen to your worship I can surrender more and more, and a calmness comes over me, and joy, and it's just so good and beautiful 🙏🥺✨ The Holy Spirit is working through you, it encourages and strengthens my faith. As someone who serves on a worship team weekly, sometimes it’s hard to over-analyze all of the nuances you’re hearing with vocals and instruments. Man, I genuinely enjoyed every second of this worship. Soon as I heard the progression for All I Need Is You, I lost it haha. Raw, genuine, voice cracks, slightly losing tempo and adjusting, all of it is true and authentic worship. Let us not get lost in all of the details and let us focus on the real reason for our worship… thank you Sam.
No problem brother, absolutely agree with the point on overanalysing. I just decided a few years ago to focus on the connection with the Lord and the rest would come. Im glad it blessed you.
Side note: a gentle reminder to be intentional about taking Sabbaths if you are indeed serving weekly on a worship team (disregard if it’s your full-time job). It’s very easy to go through the motions when serving weekly, especially in worship ministry, so be sure to take time to also rest and receive so that you’re not always pouring out.
The scratchiness in your voice ended up being my favorite part about the way you sang in this video. God works in mysterious ways. This was the first video I came across from yours ever and it's been on repeat every morning and evening. I hope you know that the Lord is working through you. You're gift is beautiful. I’m going on year 4 of a chronic illness and although God has strengthened me daily to keep going and seeking healing, I sometimes really struggle with depression and anxiety because of it. I’m very grateful this was recommended to me today. Thank you Sam-for your voice and for reminding me of God’s goodness.
I've been feeling lost lately, after my surgery there are a lot of things happening. My faith has been tested, and I failed. And now, trying to go back to God this song really helped me a lot. I've been feeling lost lately, after my surgery there are a lot of things happening. My faith has been tested, and I failed. And now, trying to go back to God this song really helped me a lot. Reminding me how great our God is, that He is still gladly waiting for me to come back no matter what happened. God is so good!
