I saw Bob's marvel of a performance two nights later in Kilkenny, but these videos are better than anything captured there -- congratulations to the maker! Who are the members of Bob's band -- superb musicians all with a special gratitude for the pedal steel/fiddler!
Band Members Bob Dylan - piano Tony Garnier - bass George Recile - drums Charlie Sexton on lead guitar Donnie Herron - violin, banjo, electric mandolin, pedal steel, lap steel
Wow! A Masterpiece. The artist and his great song. The video maker too. So close up. A bit shaky, but moving, emotional. Especially from 04:44 on. What a wonderful sight : black hat, eyes nose fingers holding the harmonica -almost covered by the grand piano. You've got it! Brilliant after so many dark stages. Though we know that Bob dislikes to "pose" 😊😎🤗
@@auramac OMG, it:s really "shaky" and I did'nt check it out. Shame on me! No offense, but you might lack the language feeling here. Sure, it's shaky but is not a "damn thing". It's damn touching to watch ol' Bob having fun behind his grand piano. And, as I would guess, most viewers feel that too. Like it or dislike it, take it or leave it. Have fun ... ruclips.net/video/GtTbMjMSGtQ/видео.html
Yes great. Hello there, thank you for posting this track. It is included inside Bob Dylan's Music Box (search for The Bob Dylan Project 🎩 WEBSITE) Come and join us inside and listen to every song composed, recorded or performed by Bob Dylan, plus all the great covers streaming on RUclips, Spotify, Deezer and SoundCloud.
been a fan of Bob DYLAN since the late sixties ...not always finding at the time his work agreeable ...not unlike Babe Ruth, who's strike-outs number more than Babe"s "home runs". Bob still can hit the long ball and redefine the experience for his fans by constantly expressing different arrangements, as to his appearance on stage, his ability to dress as the consummate (quintessential) performer, sets DYLAN apart, far apart from others...giving others a paradigm to copy, who else but Bob has don such increasing flamboyant suits other than past performers that include Porter Wagner, or currently Chris Isaak and it works so well...
i am a sculptor by profession but in november 1997 i have paint my selfportrait oil on canvas it was my master peace i have an orange a deep blue and white colour so i have mixed to all of shades yes bright colours hurts me
Mass confusion as the world keeps turning, leading the masses who just keep on yearning where no one is learning. All the while an age of deceit, while silence is golden for the masses defeat. Masses being led to new and different masses to wonder endlessly with division and conquering of the classes. Peace and safety being chatter on screens of flashes, with violent streams become offerings of marching on dashes. Nothing is solid and even people get sold, and no one has courage except those who know of what's told of the old. You might see them as a shine here and there few, but in retrospect, the bold mainly preach to the choir to those who always knew. No one steps up, and when they do, little comes to reach out to each other. This world's getting torn between the sister and the brother. All the while someone Holy keeps pouring, and the doors opening up to all the homeless yearning. VC
he used to sing he had a date with a pretty little girl from Greece. Now he's going back to wash his clothes. He keeps changing this verse. There's that time when he went back to his hotel room with Boticelli's Niece ....
When they were dodging lions the Apostle Paul had already gone to Spain and Britain. Johnny Cash recorded One Of These Days I'm Going To Sit Down and Talk to Paul. You can find it on You Tube.
There's nothing like Bob's studios recordings, they have a wonderful and clear quality with subtle fluctuations and intimations noticeable in his vocal presentations/articulations, esp in past 2 decades, that simply, rarely come through in his live shows. I've been a fan of Bob's for 50 years. but left shows due to the poor sounds coming from the stage. I just can't appreciate or enjoy these lives shows. Band sounds off, and Bob's voice is difficult to listen to. But again, his studio recordings throughout his career are phenomenal in the history of rock & roll poetry.
Features strongly on RTR 1975 CD boxset. Interesting how songs like this are attracting favorable comments but elsewhere on YT some comments are very unpleasant about Bob at this particular gig. Cheapshots !
I’m a big fan of his recorded songs and have been for a very long time but I just don’t get the appeal of him as a live performer. Most of the songs are barely recognisable and wouldn’t be at all if you didn’t catch some of the lyrics and he seems to have zero interest in the audience. Sorry to be a heretic.
I will never get tired of this.
great rendition of the song. you can tell how much fun he's having too
When I listen to this masterpiece I wonder how a 78 years old man can do what he does? AMAZING !!!
At 81 years old it was enough for me to go to this superb gig. Rock !
Edi Camon sold his soul....

No date with Botticell's niece! A lyrical concession to the loss of beauty in modern Rome.

This may be his masterpiece.
Impressive and. surprising. What a performer!!
Je suis très inquiet de le voir ainsi. 12 juillet 2019 !... Very anxious to see him in such a condition, on July 12th, 2019...
Worried?
He looks his âge, but he sounds so much younger than that now...
Quel âge avez-vous, Roland?
Au futur ....
yeah bob honey we have a lot of common or maybe not i do not know what future brings to us yes
adjusting the micro at the end.. did he intend to say something? then change his mind.. funny Bob!
Bob doesn't say anything live anymore.lol
p.s. i love you

Someone can tell me what does He say a "sailing around the world..."?
Sailing around the world with Crimson and Clover. oh Lord, sometimes I feel like my cup is running over.

David Wright Investigations tell a less obvious tale.
Does Bob use a translator to communicate with those who speak English?
Soon.
I HAVE ALREADY PAINT MY MASTERPIECE IN 1997

I wonder what Bob said, to make the guy laugh, as he was leaving the stage?
🤣
Hij zingt als een nachtegaal.
Ethan is my masterpiece.....that woman for you......
R u referring to E.Hawk - explain?
JUST PLAY HARMONICA TO ME AS MY GRANDFATHER DID

Great to see Bobby's whole fabulous Never Ending Tour band on this superb version. Unlike on big screens last Friday at Hyde Park.

Bob Dylan, a hell of a song writer but pretty consistently out performed by other bands with his own songs. Apart from a few. No disrespect intended.
