I am exactly the same. Been watching his videos for the last 3 years since my marriage failed, and I find it so calming to watch, as well as entertaining. Stay strong buddy, I am sure things will get better for you soon 😊
Anyone else hit the like button within seconds of the video starting ? I just know I’m gonna enjoy it So I start off with the like So I never forget to do so
Love your videos I suffer with fibromyalgia depression and anxiety your videos and your voice is lovely take my mind off the pain and is very soothing thanks for the videos
My 7 year old son asked me while eating his dinner tonight, Dad can we watch Andy. I said of course. We watch some of your videos 2-3 times over. We Love Ya Brother…
You look very like my cousin Graham and very much the same temperament. He just died recently of cancer. Only lived 6 weeks after diagnosis. Watching your vids is like he is still here xxx
Same here. Since I started watching him I'm eager to chop wood and getting a nice saw like he has. Looks so satisfying. Edit: Now I actually got an axe for my birthday and will be chopping to infinity.
One thing I don't understand about this and other videos about hot tenting is that when I was hot tenting the larger-sized rounds of firewood were of great value to me as to their size. Once I got a bed of coals I would feed those large rounds into the stove to get a slower, longer burn without the fast hot burn of small splits that burn up so quick. By folding the edges together of 3 or 4 layers of slightly crumbled aluminum foil to close the door on, making a fairly tight door gasket I could get overnight burns of up to 6 hours. If the fire was too starved of air I would poke a few holes through the foil with my pencil. I would always set aside those large rounds for the night.
So glad you got to do the setup in the sunshine. I'm sure I'm not alone when I feel for you when you do the setup in the driving rain/cold & snow. I'm way too old for camping now (74) but I wish I had done more because I live in Northern Ca. I did do a lot of camping as a kid expecially in the Lake Tahoe and the High Sierras. My nephew and his wife made a promise to take me on a day trip up to Tahoe. I was in the UK on a student trip in 1980 and really loved what a beautiful, civil country it was. Anyhow love your vids, so calming.
Our cinnamon rolls in the US look very similar in the can, but inside, they are already full of cinnamon and the rolls are already perforated so that you just pull them apart and put them on a baking pan. Once they are cooked, you add the icing, which is already made for you in a cup that forms the end of the can of rolls. (You do have to warm the icing to make it spreadable.)
I too like watching your camping trips. I noticed you made cranberries sauce. I didn't know if you knew it or not, but there's also a recipe called cranberry salsa which involves boiling up your cranberries and then draining some of the water off. Adding sugar some balanced amount of onion, some chopped up jalapeno and some orange extract. It's really amazing. It's to die for. In other words, I like it. Thought you might too. God bless you
Went to Texas in 2021 to camp with some friends of mine from the military. Woke up Monday morning with enough frost on the ground i thought it snowed. We Left that night when the Massive Ice storm came! What a Wonderful time! 2022 was 17 degrees the second night! God Bless Texas! Going back next year!
I love putting on ur videos before I go to sleep. They are so relaxing with the birds or rain and background noise or even just the happy speaking!! Thanks so much Andy love ur videos
I am in love with the glass sided stove/oven! How deluxe! Imagine fresh baked rolls while out ‘roughing it!’ And the cheeriness of being able to watch the fire…best of all worlds!
My father passed last week. We went camping a lot when i was a kid and your manner is very similar to what his was. It makes these videos feel nostalgic. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.
Kent, I had the same problems with this stove in a M Ceto tipi. 6 holes in one day. I orderd 1 meter extra chimney and the problem is solved. I store the stove in a flightcase and with the extra stovepipe the case is precise full.
I lived in a tent for 6 months last year -8 degrees Celsius being the coldest. For the coldest part of winter my bottle of water would be frozen when I woke up hahah, it’s crazy how wearing tight things can keep you warm I only had a summer tent and summer sleeping bag I would have died if I didn’t have tight clothes that I slept in
Only recently have I found this channel but there's just something serene in every video. A lightning in a bottle type of deal. It's the perfect content to cool down and enjoy little things. The cooking segments are great inspirations for a different meal when you get tired of the same old homely menu! Cozy vibes that are hard to find overall. Thank you.
I know you don't do stealth camping anymore, but you inspired me enough to spend a night in our local state park.so glad I finally got the balls to finally do it because it was so worth the trip.😊
Hi Andy, Another entertaining video well done. With reference the burnt holes in your tent .I do not think it is the tents design .Could it be a problem with the spark arrestor on this otherwise excellent looking stove. The holes in it look rather large, thus allowing large burning particles to pass through. My stove has a much finer mesh and contains all the burning particles..Maybe worth you checking out..
Appreciate you telling us about the boo boo of leaving the sections of the chimney off, shows you have honesty and character. You could have easily not mentioned it, but I love how you included that in your video.
Try some window screening material wrapped around the top of the chimney to get rid of the sparks. That is what steam locomotives used to stop sparks from starting fires along the track.
Hi Andy been watching your trips for a while now. Just a little tip, you may already know but if you ever want to clean your glass on your stove, use the ash in the pan with a cloth and water. Cleans with no scrubbing or scratching xxx
I have watched all your camping adventures some more than once I never get bored of watching your humour and how you enjoy the simple pleasures of cooking and eating. Good on you, Owen and Simon. Oh tip for your Christmas cranberry, add a shot of port and a splash of fresh orange!!! Yum yum.
You know what I love about your videos is the passion that you put in this. The way you cook and share the food is remarkable. I would love to go camping with you anytime if I could. The passion you have for this is amazing both in camping and the cooking you do. I can tell that when you eat the food that you are a foodie critic and you love it. I also love fact that you enjoy a nice cold brew. It's remarkable how you enjoy your life and what you are doing with these camping videos.
Hello Andy! I found your channel by accident about a week ago when I was home from work sick and are currently binge-watching all of your videos. You do an amazing job and the food you make every time looks absolutely incredible. I love camping and miss it so much. Your channel have definitely inspired me to try to go more often. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Sweden🇸🇪🌲
I've never tent camped and know absolutely nothing about camping. Your video was suggested, and I've been hooked for about a week now. It's so calming to watch, and I LOVE the accent.
I'm a 73 year old Grandma and I would love going camping with you. You cook and I'll eat. And a hot chocolate. Love your videos.
Huge respect for you, Grandma. God bless you.
He's the only guy who knows how to bring great home comfort to the wild woods. lol.
I have a better proposition. You set up camp and I will cook and clean up. Of course, I'm only 60 and I definitely will expect some neck oil.
@MikeYork-bn1mtdon’t be a prat.
😂😂😂 How much would you pay?
Thank You Andy. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Your channel brings me calming and cheer.
This ❤😊
never thought i would look up more about lanterns in my life. 8 FH will be at my doorstep tonight. 100% agreed.

I can't decide whether this is a camping show with cooking or a cooking show with camping. Either way it's a winner! 👍
I know right lol I watch to see what he is going to cook next
All this cooking is amazing. I love this bloke
Love your videos I suffer with fibromyalgia depression and anxiety your videos and your voice is lovely take my mind off the pain and is very soothing thanks for the videos

This is camping. Mistakes are made, something is always forgotten. But you make do. My kind of lifestyle.
Brilliant video, I would rather watch you cook than all the Michelin star chefs that Grace our screens especially near Christmas 👍
Awesome camping 🥾🏕️
Cooking on a wood burner, drinking the odd beer, with Owen. What could be nicer, living the dream.
Love it no matter what you do x
Shepherds pie looked delicious 😋 well done 👍
You look very like my cousin Graham and very much the same temperament. He just died recently of cancer. Only lived 6 weeks after diagnosis. Watching your vids is like he is still here xxx
Sorry for your loss. Bless you .this is a good channel isn’t it. It’s restful
I'm so sorry....🙏
Glad to see I'm not the only one who needs a real pillow to sleep well!
I never wanted to chop wood with an axe so much. Love your videos. The positivity is much appreciated.
Same here. Since I started watching him I'm eager to chop wood and getting a nice saw like he has. Looks so satisfying. Edit: Now I actually got an axe for my birthday and will be chopping to infinity.
I like how he has no urgency about him. Calm, collected and organic.

Owen is lucky to have a friend who loves to cook.

Love you leave in the ‘oops!’ moments! Keeps it real and honest. Also makes the rest of us feel much better-
The best part of camping.. besides eating...is just staring at the fire ..just watching it burn.
I love that stove. You are so charming in the face of adversity. I may get me one of them stoves and camp in my back yard.
Great idea. How was it?
I miss living off the grid. Your videos bring me back to my childhood. Thank you for sharing.
I love the cooking segments! I love that it’s not basic camping food ❤
Yes and I've wondered if he's a Chef👨🍳 too.. he cooks some great meals yum😋..
I swear I can almost taste them!
He does the most wonderful camping food! I always want to try it!!
What do you consider basic camping food? This is the type of thing I usually do.
I love Andy's videos, but the way he says "tacos" really drives me nuts. LOL. It must be to do with my OCD?
Pretty nice camp 🏕
Awesome video
Really don’t know why I love your videos, there’s just something about them that soothes me.
Maybe its the giggle?
Same
I’m in Texas & the high today was 84 but watching you shiver from the cold made me shiver & get goosebumps. As always I love your videos!❤️🇺🇸

Blessings to you.sorry for your loss. May your memories comfort you.
My sympathies. I am glad this channel helps even a little. Losing a loved one is so tough.
I live in idaho and drive a semi and haul those potatoes all the time and yes they are very good

Welp I came for the camping and scenery. Stayed for the food. 😂😂
Rain is comforting. Glad you two were nice, warm and dry.
A spot of tea will warm ur soul on a frosty eve, cocoa will also work, throw in a dash of cayenne for real hot cocoa.
Thanks for bringing Owen along.
Hey! Brewdog beer! That’s about 2 hours away from me in Cincinatti, Ohio!
I lived in a tent for 6 months last year -8 degrees Celsius being the coldest. I highly recommend you also take a look at Steve Wallis if you don’t do so already
Outdoor boys is very good I agree
Your tacos are missing Mexican corn! Oh man it would taste soooo good with what you prepared!
I should not have watched this on an empty stomach! :D
😂😂 yea thats bad for the figure 😭😭
After all that exhaustion & hustle & bustle of the world all i need to watch is Andy’s relaxing and peaceful video in the woods.
What gives it extra charm is that Andy leaves in the cock ups.
That drone is the bomb I’m gonna try to swing that for my Christmas present to myself! I’ll make sure to use your link!
Great drone but a little expensive £469 . But hope you get one,
we love you kent!!!

Really enjoying your channel & cooking 🍳 great ideas. Lovely stove & drone. Hi to Owen to. Where to next. 🌮🍻🍕🫕
“Old man’s tea party!”, that made me laugh.
Try some window screening material wrapped around the top of the chimney to get rid of the sparks. That is what steam locomotives used to stop sparks from starting fires along the track.
Getting some’Batteries Not Included’ vibes from your little drone follower. Cheers for a great video as always 👍🏻

This is like my 5th time watching this. I would definitely pay to get the chance to spend 2 nights camping with you.
I’m always excited when a new video arrives. Unfortunately, I’m in bed with Flu and fighting nausea while watching my favourite cooking bits.
