+Vowid Honestly, the best bit of advice he gave in the beginning. Keep your distance, play safe, choose your attacks wisely. Pretty easy to get to gold just by playing like that. I see a lot of newer player hitting the cat by accident or getting caught when they shouldn't. Play off your smokescreen and lotus and don't just go in hard robot mode. :)

+iBrick I use my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable Light to record. It works fine, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are better capture cards. You can also have a look into OBS for recording and if you want to have the best possible ingame performance you can use your GPU to encode, which will keep your FPS on almost the same level. (If you have a GPU that supports that, but most new ones do)
Great Video, certainly earned my sub as an assassin main. I certainly liked the commentary and feel that your production is to a much higher standard than your sub count may say. Also, I am not sure where you could work it in, but I found an interesting ability (idk if you could say combo) that does about 7.5k damage in PvE with my 337 attack rating in about half a second. If you wanted to work it into an advanced combo (you are probably better at it than me) the simple combo is 4-q-RB-ss-RB and I have found myself nearly one shotting 10k mobs with it in later PvE. I am have tier 3 poison in chokebomb for the instant 5 stacks on 4, the Q-RB for the animation cancel opportunity, and the backstep into lightning stride to deal the heavy end damage. Not sure if its helpful, but I found it interesting.

+scalerdragon2 Thanks! You can just practice it anywhere in the world. Jump up to the highest point. Press Space bar to Glide, Press Space bar to stop gliding, drop the flower, press spacebar again immediatly to glide again. From there you can do the whole thing again for activating your counter to cover up against some air openers, helps against Destroyers for example. And you can also open up in the air by using Tab switch to stealth (very important against Blade Dancers) I gotta practice it myself, I have trouble with laying down V since I use the same finger like for space bar.

+Tomoya Okazaki Thanks! Against Summoners you want to stay in stealth as much as possible and Lightning Pierce helps you get a bit of extra dps while doing so. Trying to pull off combos and stunning Summoners is not optimal, because they can protect themselves with their cat pretty easily.

Right now when the HM 5 already came and we got more skills points to deal with them 1 thing i want to ask you that what do you think about if we gonna put 3 point into '''Spinal Tap/backstab''' or what ever its calling. Not just only it can keep the poison/bleed stack up and also stun them that we can bait out their Tab escape. But more than that it didnt break our stealth and give us 6s shadow drain reduction. I find its some useful. what are you thinking? did you tested it? PS! it also boost dps of lightning Pierce alot when target is stunned ^^
+Johnny Nguyen I haven't tried that since I'm only HM 1, but it sounds like you should try it at least. Maybe it's something that works for you. To me personally it sounds a little too gimicky, but you never know until you tried.

It's meant to be for assassin's to learn to counter a summoner, so prepare for a lot of summoner hate on that video (A LOT of hate), BUT he does actually go over how a summoner builds against an assassin to show assassins what to counter. Might be a good place for you to start. He was given the summoner build to teach assassins by a high level summoner main from EU so I recon it's a very reputable build. Very in-depth guide. I dropped a sub in there for support. Though I don't use RUclips much anymore. Why is it that you make a couple of mistakes and lose 50% of your HP, and the Summoner can screw up so often and still win matches? That's what bothers me. You're clearly the much better player in this video, but you have to play SO much better just to win. Just seems like a pain honestly.

+YaBoyChaco I do it by feeling. I think it happens mostly subconsciously, since I evaluate the way the Summoner plays. Sometimes they try to reserve some abilitiies to bait out my escapes and sometimes they just use their stuff. In this game a lot of the stuff happens like that, since it's almost impossible to react to some abilities. You gotta predict it. That being said though. Summoners usually throw so much stuff at you, that you have a fairly easy time restealthing with Q anyway.

+Teldo just transition into a heavy slowmo (like 80-90% slowed down), with the exact slowing based on how long you need to talk about what happened during the slowmo. or you can just go for a consistent slowmo speed, and then do the pause at the end of what you're highlighting. basically, let us SEE what you're talking about, as it's happening, rather than just freezing on a screen and leaving it up to us to interpret the still frame. you can also do a slowmo -> brief explanation -> quick rewind -> slowmo in *slower* motion -> deeper explanation while it's happening. that way we get a bit of a primer on what's going on and know what to look out for on the 2nd slowmo. it's much easier to see what's going on in this game while it's in motion, the full freeze just adds more questions than it answers, and distracts from what you're saying (since i'm too occupied with trying to figure out what's going on in the still frame)

Unfortunately I've been having tons of issues with codecs in the past and just recently managed to get it working decently. If I find a way to implement slowmotions into the video without too much interuption I'd definitely try to do that, because I agree that it would be better for the viewer to understand what's goin on. +EU Talox I personally don't like it, since the ranged negation effect of smokebomb is very useful against summoners. Also against really good summoners you have to play for time unfortunately and make use of the healing a lot.

+TABsk The beam is pretty hard to hit when you circle around them wildly. Just try to move around in unpredictable patterns. To be honest Summoners have other ways to get you out of stealth too and I'll have to make another video to showcase how to deal with that. But getting a Tab Switch on the summoner often times allow you to just deal tons of damage already.

+Francesco Caruso The Dark Strike upgrade you're talking about is an ability that triggers on crit, while being out of stealth. It doesn't amplify the damage of your in-stealth dps.
I don't lose points whenever i lose. It says I have won 8 in silver and lost 3. I'm not premium member and im only lvl 23. Do you have to be premium member ti rank up?
+TheAnnihilationPlays Your rank should not be affected by premium membership. If you play against really high rated players you don't lose much rating.
Why not just have your 1-stealth ability on the standard 30 second unconcious? So you make their pet unconcious. They cant prevent that other than make you accidentally hit it.
+ThisusernameistoolongtobeacceptedbythetermsofusethatIdontgiveashitabout Because it's not very good to CC the pet. It heals the pet continously and the summoner can take health of their pet and becomes almost unkillable. On top of that he can break the pet out of the CC anyway. The restealth is way better.
+hard mode If you get the chance it'd greatly increase your chances of winning. However a good Summoner will protect their pet and make it hard for you to keep focusing it. It'll take lots of damage over time and you might be able to kill it eventually though. Just going for it straight away is not necessarily a great strategy.

+Teldo just transition into a heavy slowmo (like 80-90% slowed down), with the exact slowing based on how long you need to talk about what happened during the slowmo. or you can just go for a consistent slowmo speed, and then do the pause at the end of what you're highlighting. basically, let us SEE what you're talking about, as it's happening, rather than just freezing on a screen and leaving it up to us to interpret the still frame.
you can also do a slowmo -> brief explanation -> quick rewind -> slowmo in *slower* motion -> deeper explanation while it's happening. that way we get a bit of a primer on what's going on and know what to look out for on the 2nd slowmo.
it's much easier to see what's going on in this game while it's in motion, the full freeze just adds more questions than it answers, and distracts from what you're saying (since i'm too occupied with trying to figure out what's going on in the still frame)
+EntropyUnleashed Thank you for the input. In order to be able to record my voice and control the video simultaneously, I have to watch the video in a videoplayer, while recording. Unfortunately I've been having tons of issues with codecs in the past and just recently managed to get it working decently.
If I find a way to implement slowmotions into the video without too much interuption I'd definitely try to do that, because I agree that it would be better for the viewer to understand what's goin on.

Is the Smokebomb's Stealth version good to use versus them? I know the cd is really high.
+EU Talox I personally don't like it, since the ranged negation effect of smokebomb is very useful against summoners. Also against really good summoners you have to play for time unfortunately and make use of the healing a lot.

The familiar will deal a lot of damage as well. The summoner is pretty weak without their familiar so if you get rid of it you'll have an advantage.
Most of the time when I use rmb-f I always went out of stealth. Any tips to do that combo faster?
+Phuykong Meng There's no real trick to it, you can only really spam it. It depends a lot on latency I'm afraid.

But this summoner didnt use some kind of beam that takes you out of stealth, I really have a hard time doing my rightclick+f combo vs that.
+TABsk The beam is pretty hard to hit when you circle around them wildly. Just try to move around in unpredictable patterns. To be honest Summoners have other ways to get you out of stealth too and I'll have to make another video to showcase how to deal with that. But getting a Tab Switch on the summoner often times allow you to just deal tons of damage already.
Summoner is a good class for pvp?
+danifvcp Anything works for PvP. Summoner happens to be one of the easier classes to learn though.

+Francesco Caruso The Dark Strike upgrade you're talking about is an ability that triggers on crit, while being out of stealth. It doesn't amplify the damage of your in-stealth dps.
I don't lose points whenever i lose. It says I have won 8 in silver and lost 3. I'm not premium member and im only lvl 23. Do you have to be premium member ti rank up?

Why not just have your 1-stealth ability on the standard 30 second unconcious? So you make their pet unconcious. They cant prevent that other than make you accidentally hit it.

It heals the pet continously and the summoner can take health of their pet and becomes almost unkillable. On top of that he can break the pet out of the CC anyway. The restealth is way better.

If you change your N ability you can do that.

+hard mode If you get the chance it'd greatly increase your chances of winning. However a good Summoner will protect their pet and make it hard for you to keep focusing it. It'll take lots of damage over time and you might be able to kill it eventually though. Just going for it straight away is not necessarily a great strategy.
