You've obviously spent a lot of time in the game, and you seem to be pretty good. The problem I have with your build setup is that your "perma-stealth" has upwards of 10 points into skills that you can't even use in stealth. While I think this isn't a horrible build, it just isn't perma-stealth. Mist slash can't be used in stealth Dark Strike spec'd that way isn't as useful in stealth, you'll have excess focus while Shadow Drain is active. Decoy is really only useful to get back into stealth Poison Breath isn't necessary beyond 1 point because you shouldn't need to heal back up (obviously you're going to take damage on occasion, so I don't have as many issues with those points) Spinal Tap is vital to this build, you need to reduce the cooldown of Shadow Drain in order to get the focus back to stay in stealth. Not to mention once you spec Spinal Tap to the third tier it allows you to stay in stealth. (Just to clarify something) You need Set Landmine to that tier because it allows you to proc poison and stay invisible on bosses while you're invisible since you can't use Spinal tap to stun bosses and apply the poison. (This is JUST for perma-stealth assassin, because I love Lotus on other builds) you do NOT need Lotus to that tier. It's a waste of a point because you should never trigger their AI Just to clarify, I'm not saying this is a bad build. It just doesn't work for what you're trying to do.

Adam A Feel free to ask anything about the build. Perma-stealth is pretty easy to play with the build and very few things are honestly "core" and technically anything with 3 points in Shadow dash are "perma-stealth" since it gives you 100% uptime. The core I mention'd just make stealth very simple, and give you plenty of extra options.

You can get perma stealth by specing 3 points into shadow dash. The cooldown for shadow dash is 6s and the invis duration is 6s. Simply back up or SS and 1 right into stealth again.

Quick quest, why not LMB Tier 3, (U wont leave Stealth Stance plus will decrese in 6 sec the Shadow Drain), And Lightning Pierce decrease the cooldown of 4 Skill (if builded in last move will not leave stealth plus give hurge damage in poisoned enemys and Recover 3 focus on hit with 6 sec cooldown - reducing by 3 sec while crit as Lightning Pierce)
I don't exactly agree with the mist slash points, first of all, it's a mere 100ish damage that practically means nothing in the long run. Second is because since you can't use it during stealth, and your goal is to perma stealth, it kinda contradicts what your goal is and makes the points worthless. Other than that I actually learned a few things and I think it was a great video.
I can understand where you're coming from but as we don't have the hongmen skills at the moment so therefore the majority of the points are irrelevant atm sadly. Next patch I'll be doing a new build as well which will focus more on perma stealth

All you need for perma stealth is actually only 3 talent points. when u have 6 sec colddown u can just run away when 1 sec left on invis and use 1 as soon as out of stealth in the back and u gucci
You forgot to say that you can cancel the "3" stun pressing RMB when you touch the ground with your feet, this will save precious stealth second to keep dps!

Just started playing assassin and i'm loving it. I also live in Australia so I have around 300 or so ping and it's ok I guess. It won't be as much dps as others with lower ping but perma stealth is still a thing, just takes longer to kill shit.
you can spec your mine to Daze and your Shadow Dagger to Daze so when you fuck up going to Steath you can Daze boss and give some Venom Swarn and Tab for stealth.
I have one question abuut the dark strike vs lightning pierce debate. You say that with lightning pierce you run out of focus a lot quicker, since dark strike can recover 1 focus if you crit. However, dark strike requires 2 focus while lightning pierce only requires 1? Dark strike will cost 2 focus 60% of the time with your crit rate and 1 focus 40% of the time, whereas lightning pierce will always only cost 1 focus. The rest of your arguments for the skill are fine, but the focus argument is wrong.
how many seconds before poison stack end or it just stack on the one that you already have ( and then you don`t have to press x and after x shadow dash again ) just press x shadow dash do your stuff stealth again shadow dash with out x ,can this be possible ?
+umar hakeem i know it's good, animation is fast but it drain mana pretty quick. the purpose of this build was to stay invis. but it's a pretty good subtitue til when you get lightning rod so you can manage mana abit to use lightning crash too

Is this build still viable? I tried to perma stealth but I will get out of stealth. Example I'm in stealth with 2 seconds left and I do shadow drain on a poisoned target and I'm left with 1.5 Sec of stealth instead of getting a new 6 seconds of stealth.
X to add poison stack, then 1 to restealth. I'm confused. Isnt 1 the dash? meaning at close range it is useless. Unless 1 becomes another ability during stealth. Is that it?
+TheJokerscene while in stealth he uses x-throwing dagger(stealth stance)for a poison stack, then he uses 1-shadow drain(stealth stance)which extends the time of the stealth(stance) if the target has a poison stack. so in other words he reactivates stealth whilst being in stealth i hope this makes sense for you xD
Is this pve build still viable on the Korean/Chinese version of the game? In NA it is, because the game just got released, but I'm wondering if this style of play got nerfed over the years, in Korea. I want to create an assassin on NA, and I want to know what to expect in the future, if it gets nerfed here, after 1 year let's say, I will probably pick another class.

I can solo every boss easily with sin I also solo'd Tomb of exile with level 37 just because of the stealth. But whats bugging me how do you keep up 5 poison stacks or is it even possible? atm i only have 5 poison stacks with Poison Breath and thats huge burst when i restealth ofc. But is there a way to keep up poisons up to 5 stacks without Poison Breath?
This is a major over complication of a simple technique of staying perma stealth, I tested this build/rotation over 200 boss kills (100 with rotation, 100 with simple rotation) compared to just RB/F spamming and moving back then pressing 1 (not even double tapping S) with 45% crit and this rotation on average killed bosses a minute faster, you say but that is a whole minute, yes a minute of over complicated things that could go wrong like wrong button at wrong time, etc, etc. during my testings i had a few doing this rotation but i did not once fail or even get hit by a boss doing the simple Charge into the boss to stealth then spam RB/F til about 1.5 second then move backward and press 1 again not even having to double tap S. Sorry but i'll take a minute longer to kill a boss then take the chance of pressing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Again, nice build/rotation but way over complicated for perma stealth killing and not worth that 1 minute saved. The build is good, the rotation isnt needed.
+Kristuf Christuf It really isn't complicated, just requires a bit more foresight/awareness of your stealth timer. If you practice you'll get it flawless and kill bosses faster
tier 3 form 3 R deals a lot of dmg when the target is poisoned plus refunds 3 chi and doesnt break invisibility, then the F I talk about is tier 2 form 3 lightning pierce that replaces the normal F after you crit with your rb
+rjrende He's talking about weaving in the skill Lightning Rod. He is suggesting picking the Tier 2 upgrade for Darkstrike making it Lightning Pierce. This would keep reducing the cooldown of Lightning rod per hit by 3 seconds. Furthermore the Tier 3, 3rd path Lightning rod upgrade lowers the cooldown to 6 seconds. Shaving off 3 seconds is quite significant on such a low cooldown already and will net you alot of extra focus. Took me awhile to figure out what he was trying to say.
1krono Not all that much longer than 6-man runs. Having all rewards to yourself without paying a dime is worth it, though. I found it much more fun, too. Reminded me of Dark Souls, except with much more spamming.
+chen its have a relation with your ping, the highest the ping is, the lowest your combo will be. Thats a sad fact about blade and souls for people that dont have a good conection
Mate I'm trying to listen to you and pick up important points from your guide but that annoying dance number your character is doing is downright distracting.
Over 8 minutes of talking and showing totally useless skills for stealth such as Dark Strike and Mist Slash... to in final show you DON'T KNOW how to perma stealth ( example in 8:49 - randomly used counter, hoping it will work, omg... ). ...Hard to belive so many people liked it.

Great build, as comments say it has a couple of points when you're not in stealth, but then again...life isn't perfect right? ;)
Why level dark strike???? DARK strike is for out of invis and lightning crash is when you are invis

Not atm you can keep up 5 stacks long but not 100%

1krono Not all that much longer than 6-man runs. Having all rewards to yourself without paying a dime is worth it, though.
I found it much more fun, too. Reminded me of Dark Souls, except with much more spamming.

200 wouldn't really be possible sadly as this game pretty you need decent ping !. I am currently sitting on 20-25 ms

+chen its have a relation with your ping, the highest the ping is, the lowest your combo will be. Thats a sad fact about blade and souls for people that dont have a good conection

Mate I'm trying to listen to you and pick up important points from your guide but that annoying dance number your character is doing is downright distracting.
Over 8 minutes of talking and showing totally useless skills for stealth such as Dark Strike and Mist Slash... to in final show you DON'T KNOW how to perma stealth ( example in 8:49 - randomly used counter, hoping it will work, omg... ).
...Hard to belive so many people liked it.
Read Assasins skills before make a video please, ur talent points are annoying bad to pve.
