    Hi man, I can't understand why we are assuming that at an angular velocity we will have the most torque value possible.... how we can predict that in a real prototype the turbine will achieve that velocity...what if it can't get there?
    What should you recommend to solve this problem ...

    • @amitsvlog5274
      @amitsvlog5274  3 года назад +1

      Firstly, we have calculate the the max and Min velocity of test ring with including both of runners. Then , we have the max and Min radius from our test ring design. That way can calculate angular velocity. Yes, it can relate the real protype for particular mass flow rate because angular velocity for particular always constant . In real test we can easily get angular velocity and torque as output . But in simulation we have assume that which possible value of angular velocity is appropriate to produce particular torque.

      Yeah, you are right man, well thanks a lot, your video is amazing, you helped me a lot 🤝, just one more question, in the video with single stage turbine, you picked angular velocity "4" because it was the higher value in the range of water velocity without a turbine?
      I'm working in this project for my final grade in Uni. Thanks for the answer 👍

    Really nice but i have a question. Why didn't u select inlet as velocity inlet?

    • @amitsvlog5274
      @amitsvlog5274  3 года назад +2

      U can take velocity as a inlet . There is no issue.

    • @amitsvlog5274
      @amitsvlog5274  3 года назад +2

      As in my project I have selected mass flow rate as input so in this video select as input otherwise there is no issue to choose velocity as a inlet

    sir, why the torque i get increases as the rpm increases? as we know, the torque value should decrease as the rpm increases. I've followed the steps you described, but my simulation results are as I described. Can you explain why my simulation results are like that?

      I think you should check the mesh analysis. This mesh analysis is good for my model so, please focus on mesh analysis.

    Sir, what is the meaning of negative torque in your result? And is it normal?

    • @amitsvlog5274
      @amitsvlog5274  2 года назад

      Negative only represents the direction . we should go for further calculation by taking magnitude only.thanks

      @@amitsvlog5274 Ok thanks Sir, my colleagues and I are working with the project related to multistage vortex turbine too. We followed the instruction on this video with 3 stages, but we got the result of torque with high variation. For example, in some data it showed Torque around 0.005 J, but in some data it showed until 5000 J although the variation of rpm is small. What is the possible cause and solution for this Sir?
      and which one is better to model multistage rotor between steady case like you did, or transient using sliding mesh?
      Thanks

    • @amitsvlog5274
      @amitsvlog5274  2 года назад

      you should check your mesh. If the mesh is okay then the result will not be varied much.

      @@elluthfi plz follow this instructions while putting the data ruclips.net/video/vwFLn1OfFBk/видео.html.
      it depends on your full knowledge about transient and steady. both will be okay .
