It's not just the people that seem useless...the stage seems really small!!! I don't usually see DT playing to such a little crowd since the Scenes from New York DVD...
Dream Theater have the best outro's out of any bands I've ever heard. The word epic is most suitable to describe them. It's one of the main reason's I keep listening to DT. Their music holds my attention for it's entirety and there is always that awesome outro waiting at the end. Followed by an awesome intro to another song. The perpetual cycle of earphoria :)
james rocked on this album... i saw them 2 years ago in venezuela.. but ive seen the shows so far... there something magical.. as queer as it sounds.. this song also made me cry when i heard it... i dont know it just come out on a personal level.. my favorite band of all time and my reason for playing music... :)
I have seen DT 3 times and saw them in Vegas with Prog Nation. I agree with other comments -- this was the best concert of my life. I cannot get seeing this song out of my head ... and that is a good thing. I have been a DT fan since 1992 and this is far and away my favorite song.
At 2:57 where Jordan starts those "ping" noises in the background: I only noticed them for the first time when I saw DT live in Glasgow last year! It's such a nice addition though, really helps bring out the chords and reinforces the melody.
1:30-4:20 this part always gives me goosebumps....OMG! Petrucci is the best guitar player in the world! ♥♥♥ I just love his facial expressions when he gets intimitate with his guitar! DT 4 ever ♥
at the "violin"part at around 2:00 does JP use a volume pedal to make the swells? Also this song is epic, the last part is the best and the ending violins sound like movie OST, DT is genius
this song for me was love at first sight.. or first hearing? hehehe... all of them great, pretty mature song... but Labrie it's the man on this song... almost would say this song was composed for him to shine...
Great clip, thanks for posting it! I love how 24 years into their careers they still are able to find ways to take it to their music to these new great places. Proof of their excellence!
At around 7:45, on the screen: the video with the young child opening the door, etc. I think matches the emotion of this part of the song perfectly. Bravo!

John Petrucci never makes mistakes. Is your ear that couln't understand the technic awesomeness and tried to distort the sound.

The singing part after the ending solo is the best ending in DT's history, even better than Octavarium in my opinion.
