- It felt wrong to try to edit this video so here’s just my raw feelings and emotions while trying to update what’s going on with our son.
Reality of today is. It’s hard. I just wanted to talk through my feelings today. And I’m sorry for so many pauses and thoughts rushing through my head as I’m searching for the words to share, but still trying to guard my heart at the same time and not over share.
Luke (for the past 3 days) has woken up at 4:00am to clusters of seizures that are progressing to tonic seizures which has lasted 1-2 hours with minimal breaks in between. His neurologist has planted the seed of brain surgery ‘VNS” in the near future between 6 months to 2 years if we can’t get Luke’s seizures under control with keto diet and medicine because his last EEG was… shocking.
I know this is a different video compared to my others but today is just heavy and I wanted to be as transparent as possible. We would appreciate all the prayers for guidance, strength, options and miraculous healing shifts.
Lastly if anybody has already done VNS surgery with their littles, can you please share your journey with us? Even if it’s bad. That would help my heart have more of an understanding with this choice in the future. Luke is 2. Has anyone done this surgery around the age of 4 or younger?

The fact that Luke has become more aware in the last few months likely means neuroplasticity.

The VNS was amazing for my daughter who had very bad seizures and also had infantile spasms as well, now 23 and hasn’t had a seizure since the age of 16 don’t give up praying for you

My heart hurts for Luke and you. I have a special needs sister with a seizure disorder. Thankfully she has grown out of most of the issues we encountered when she was little. I’m glad you are allowing yourself to feel all of the emotions. I hope that you and your husband have people around you that can love on you both. I’m a fellow Texan and I am standing with you in faith and trusting for the miraculous.

Yes, amen I agree with you. I think a lot of the time we’re not allowed to feel what we feel and then it’s such a horrible feeling to have to suppress those feelings because you kind of start feeling isolated. I know that’s how I felt within my family with my daughter with special needs and seizures as well. It’s like everyone in my family would tell me they were there if I ever needed to talk or share, but then when I would share, it’s like I wasn’t allowed to feel sad about it or there was no real compassion for me. Personally, I would be made to feel like I was being selfish even though I very much put my daughter first and love her with all my heart there’s no question about that, but I do wish and I pray for families to be more loving and supporting in that manner, showing compassion to mom as well and letting her feel what she feels they must have only meant to not let me stay stuck in those feelings, but I did learn a lot. It made me isolate myself from my family due to the lack of compassion in that area, but in isolating myself from them, it became a solitude where I turned to the Lord and the Lord help me see that, when you have no one else when even your family might seem like they abandon you, he is our father. He is our best, most loving, kind, compassionate father, who will never fail us and who will always be there to listen and to show us compassion because he sees everything we go through with our children and he, saves all our tears. He makes his presence known so that we can feel comfort and maybe sometimes that happens because he wants us to learn to be dependent on him.🥰🙏 i’ve watched this video already multiple times and I’ve shared it with people who I know would appreciate your honest and your honesty. Thank you so much for always having such courage. You just have a lot of courage to be able to share this knowing that it’s so painful, just repeating it and having to go through speaking about it with others, you still do it because you know that there’s a purpose for everything that’s going on and I thank you so much. I am so grateful for you being the godly mother and woman that you are and being obedient to what God puts on your heart to share with the rest of the world so that we also share the same journey or similar, can be inspired and turn to the Lord in our own times of needs for strength, I don’t know you and your family personally but I know your story because I followed your channel and I just have to say I love you so much you’re such a inspiring sister in Christ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have a daughter who is 24 and she has Rett syndrome she’s had cluster seizures and all kinds of other ones on and off her whole life and she’s always been on anti seizure meds and we never expected her condition to ever be without them maybe less over time but always there you know and but out of nowhere well not out of nowhere when we we started just started looking at what could we see God doing in our family with this like what was God trying to show us and it took years of us going through every possible emotion with her possible and for us we felt the same way sweetheart like this shouldn’t be our story that’s my baby but now she is med free since 2020 no seizure super naturally healed of the seizures she has minor tremors but very few and not at all like before and all I give her now is melatonin for sleep and I really look at it from a different perspective now having been born again in the process I kind of had to stop thinking why is this happening to her? Whyyyyyy is this happening to us? Whyyyyyy can’t we have a regular normal family like everyone else? And then I don’t know somehow God put it on my heart that I read the story of the blind man that Jesus healed and how they were asking him what his parents did they must’ve been in someway sinful, and that’s why the man had been born blind, and this verse really changed our lives and the way we look at what we’ve gone through with my daughter, I’ll share it here
The verse in the Bible where Jesus states that the blind man he healed and his parents were not sinful is found in John 9:3: "Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.'".
By saying "neither this man nor his parents sinned," Jesus is explicitly stating that the man's blindness was not a punishment for any wrongdoing, but rather an opportunity for God's power to be demonstrated through Jesus' healing.
I feel your pain beautiful sister I have been so many times there with our daughter yes the look they give us when they are scared confused it broke my heart every time but you are doing so amazing your faith is mind blowing continue just clinging to the Lord praying for wisdom discernment and strength for your precious beautiful boy being it all to the Lord just as you are doing Know that you are inspiring and touching other peoples lives too continue to turn to the Lord in our time of need and suffering I will continue to pray for your precious sweetheart boy I know the miracle is there God’s God’s timing. I know it’s hard during this time in our suffering and our weakness, God can show his glory and power. The most I now consider it a blessing as if my daughter would have never had this condition. I would’ve never been so close to God and been allowed to build this face that I now have for my other children and in our lives and our other younger son, who also has special needs new seizures, but the road we have traveled with my older daughter, has now made it possible for me too, lean on the Lord with confidence now that my son has special needs autistic Spectrum God bless you and your family and your sweet boy. You have constant continuous prayers for him through our family. We love you guys. I always look forward to in Jesus returns when our children with special needs will be able to have a pain-free body seizure, free body, glorious supernatural body just keep looking up to Jesus you are doing amazing. I am so in awe of your beautiful powerful strong faith in God sister!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤ god bless everyone here who also has a child or family member friend with special needs ❤🙏 an x-ray technician who attended to my daughter years ago when she had a fractured leg due to her falling during a seizure I feel an angel in disguise he told us God chooses special people to take care of his children with special needs I know it doesn’t seem like it right now, but your daughter is a blessing In more ways than you can ever imagine your child is chosen by God to show His glory ❤🙏I wasn’t quite in a deep relationship with Jesus yet and was thankful for his kind words but only remembered really what he meant when I came to know the Lord personally and was saved ❤🙏🥰God is faithful and He will never fail us in any way never stop clinging to Christ❤🙏🙏🙏❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

Sweet Lady, I just saw a more recent video of you having a bad day. You also had more information about what is happening to Luke. I would love to tell you it will be okay but I can't. I will pray for both of you and ask God to give you a miracle cause Luke needs God's help. Maybe with all of us holding Luke up to Him in prayer he will help Luke be the little boy we all want.
I stopped to pray for Luke and also you. I then thanked God for his divine intervention. So continue your prayers for Luke and thank God. I do believe he will answer our prayers, it will a true blessing for Luke. Please keep us informed on how Luke is doing. My prayers for Luke will continue till I hear he is doing better. I don't think I'll stop there he will need our prayers for his success in life. Don't lose faith. All things are possible with God ❤😊

Until then … keep feeling … your feelings aren’t a surprise to Jesus or to me … those feelings are real and can’t be suppressed … but neither can your faith and your humble submission to God. Hi I lost my daughter in 2019 to sudep she was born to term with no problems then at age about 9 months started with infantile spasms ,which eventually turned into Lennox gastau syndrome when she was 12 I lost her at 14 , she had all seazure types if you need any to ask me anything please ask , I no the journey your on , I see you and so wish someone saw me when I was going through this , why I reach out to you , I’m from England and from me losing my only daughter massive changes have been made , will not help us but but will help other children , I did not no about sudep until it was too late , I hope you have been told about this I no your pain my heart is with you julie
