Oddly, this sort of behavior is considered somewhat normal in NASCAR. It's very common for teammates to block other cars or nudge them so that their teammate can win a better place. A lot of this apparently has to do with the way that the cars can get away with bumping each other around as part of normal racing, where any contact at all in F1 simply causes parts to come off in rapid fashion. In the rules, it's not explicitly forbidden to block others, so. This is in large part due to the grandfathered in rules dating back to when it was done on dirt tracks with basically modified ex-moonshine runners. Since Bristol is the last dirt track in the circuit, these rules about contact still apply/are loosely enforced. :)

Granted, every time a boxer enters the ring, especially for a title belt, they're risking seriously brain injuries ... ... but to enter the ring, with intentionally 'doped up' hands, with the effect that your opponent feels like he is being pummelled with bricks - which is essentially what happened to Billy Collins Jnr. - not only should that be attempted murder, but, give it was premeditated, possibly as high a Manslaughter 1, if not Murder 2. Alot has been made about him beating up his wife, but even after his death in that car crash, she never once accused him of domestic abuse/violence, as in her own words "he wasn't the same man, anymore ...". Traumatic Brain Injury, especially of the kind he had, which would've been better diagnosed today, with better imaging techniques, would more than likely result in a serious shift in personality, far beyond the person's conscious control, simply because the amount of injury incurred would've been irrecoverable ... the man she married died that night of the fight, and, intentional, or not, that car crash was almost inevitable ... [There's a story that goes that the Sports Editor of a large newspaper in the city that that fight took place, sent a photographer to take the - now infamous - B&W photo of Collins' face the day after the fight, in the hotel suite the fighter was staying at. Aside from the God-awful bruising, both eyes where completely swollen shut, making him essentially blind ... I'm surprised he didn't have detached retinas in both eyes ... As a British boxing fan, especially from days of Frank Bruno, I've seen some nasty boxing injuries, but Collins' is up there with the very worst ... the guy's face looked like what you expect to see from slamming a man into a concrete wall ... which, essentially, is exactly what happened to him ... a brilliant career snuffed out, way too early, by absolute, criminal callousness ... still makes me sick thinking about it ... ]

Yeah I saw a video about the whole thing. So sad what happened to that poor guy. Just so resto could win a fight.
@@TrueChaosLord
Oh, absolutely ...
When the Editor asked why the photographer didn't ask the poor guy to open his eyes, the photographer replied that he did ... and they were ...
If you haven't seen it, basically it looked like what happens when you break the orbital bones around both eyes.

I will say when I was growing up Lance Armstrong was my hero. He was the reason I got into cycling, not just watching but I also had dreams of one day competing in the Tour de France. I was one of those who didn't believe it until the official news came out. It absolutely broke my soul! It along with all the other cheating stories made me give up on cycling. Frankly he and any others caught cheating should be banned for life and fined heafty amounts!
Competitive cycling will ruin both your physical and mental health because you will be racing against cheaters. They couldn't pass Armstrong's medal to another cyclist because the first person they found who didn't cheat came in 23rd place of the race.
It's like those perfect hairs on shampoo commercials that you will never get because on top of visual effects, the models went to full hair treatment before shooting those commercials. A lot of these so called exceptional people around us are fake.

13:54, One of the reason people were PISSED about this besides it being cheating, is because it can also be seen as attempted MURDER... When the FRONT BRAKES are applied to harshly, like done here, the bike MAY Flip FORWARD due to the amount of Forward momentum it has, potentially CRUSHING the driver under the 500LB motorcycle.
Lance Armstrong: "Oh no I got caught blood doping and lost a few million I guess I'll have to live on this meager 50 million."
I love the clip of the dude on the bike kicking the other dude (20:53) and the dude that got kicked just stuck his arm up like "damn you"

Car racing that couse crash on purpose should be charged with attempted murder.
Nah. Teaching you to safely crash is necessary in that sport. Same with bikes and motorcycles. Minimize damage to you. He knew how to do it safely. They teach that in more sports than you would think.
Nah it shouldn't because car are so safe these days
The Lance Armstrong thing must have blown over. His branded clothing line is still on sale at Dick's Sporting Goods.
Friendly notice to the editor: Crashgate happened at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix not the Spanish Grand Prix. Huge fan of the videos BTW.
I think that whoever can in second place behind the cheating person should get a medal or something or they would just get cheated out of a championship
All cheaters should be banned for life they truly rek the whole sport
Hmmmm well sounds good. But truthfully after seeing what the Astros did and what belecheck has done for so many years all I can say is. I wish my teams cared enough and were smart enough to cheat better. Who really cares. Everyone be cheating to gain an edge. It's the way it is. If millions were at stake. I'd cheat as well. It's like Armstrong. Everyone was juicing and turns out he was the best at it. Now also he raised millions for sick kids. It's all just games these people play for millions. Hopefully my teams start figuring out how to cheat better lol
@@bobspizza7444 yeah but its kind of lame if you are the only one cheating. Its like being proud of beating up a kid, yeah you did it but given the circumstances could it have really gone any other way? Like why even compete if the person who is breaking the rules is going to win everytime. Either cheating gets implemented into the rule set or everyone playing fair will quit. Cheating has obvious advantages but of course it does. Thats why THERE ARE RULES, there HAS to be limitations for it it be a competition, you can't have two teams playing the same game by two separate sets of rules. There would be no way to properly see who's better because they aren't using the same system. cheating is for people who don't know how to play the game to the best of their ability to win so they make up their own set of rules to win. Its like a kid playing a board game and then making up rules as they go to make sure they win... its just no fun and totally gives your win ABSOLUTLEY ZERO meaning, because you didn't win at the game everyone plays you only won the game you are playing. For several years (I think it was the 1970's) aluminum javelins were made with small bumps and other barely-seen aerodynamic features. Distances increased dramatically. It wasn't to cheat, but soon after, standards for javelins were streamlined (pun intended) and the earlier/longer records were declaimed from record books. I have a story about cheating.
It’s about one time I played Among Us.
So, I got imposter on Mira HQ and I was using the vents to move around. I went into storage and there were people there. I didn’t hop out of the vent, but red was watching the vent. I went back to the balcony and came up there, then an emergency meeting was called and red immediately said that i vented, even though there was no way of him knowing. Another time, I was a crewmate on the Skeld, and someone found a dead body. Then black killed three people during the meeting including myself. I took note of his username and got him banned from the lobby, but still. And I could never get the first guy.
this isnt a cheater but i have a interesting story once i got killed the second a meating was called so my body got teloported to the table

Corking a bat makes the energy transfer between the bat and ball more efficient than just using standard wood.
