@Duke Bonde I don't know if there tat comparable. Like u have a top 15ish or so QB against a top 40ish QB. Carr has a better arm and is a better athlete. He also is a more outspoken guy and from all indications is the biggest leader of the Raider. Dalton even in his prime wasnt that and look he had a year where he was in the MVP discussion b4 getting injured but i dont think they are that similar besides I guess they are both white QBs who are pocket passers.
@Duke Bonde Dude im have 0 bias. Im not fan of any of the teams of either QB has played for. I even stated how Carr isnt similar to current or when Dalton was in the mvp discussion. Yeah i guess neither have one a playoff. Thats more of a team stat. Neither have done well in there playoff opportunities but hard to compare two QBs with totally different careers and arent that similar as players.
"The Raiders are the fourth team in a season to lose, after leading by 13 or more points." Damn it Derek Carr, this is all on you. Nothing to do with coaching. 🤨
Raiders didn't lose the game the Officiating took it from them they let the rams continue to max Crosby the last two drives. Right in front of the ref and world we all see it. But no one is talking about it. Straight trash Goodell has to go! Let's make football fair again.
The interception in the endzone Florio is talking about occured as Carr was hit as he was throwing. Florio you need to look at these plays more closely. The Raiders loss stemmed from their predictable play calling. Predictably running the ball on first and second down. Every now and then you have to call some pass plays on those downs to keep the defense honest. The same thing with 3rd and short yardage, a run play all the time and the Ram defense was just sitting on it knowing the run was coming.
I agree, but I also believe that Mr ums ya know offense hamstrings carr. Look at how good he was with musgrave as oc and a scheme that wasn't elementary.
This is the exact Derrick Carr typebof crap that has me 100% positive it's time to draft a young guy. Take a chance and move on. Send him down the road.
According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Rams’ 98-yard TD drive was the longest go-ahead TD drive that began in the final 2 minutes over the last 45 seasons And this Davante Adams played 62 games for the Packers in the regular season & playoffs from 2018-2021.He caught less than four passes only ONCE in those 62 games. He already has four games with fewer than four catches this season with the Raiders. All four, Ls. What is Vegas doing? Now a side of these Derek Carr's 36.9 passer rating tonight for #Raiders was the worst of his career. Previous low was 48.1 vs Eagles on Christmas night 2017 Raiders when leading by double digits at halftime in the 10 seasons before Josh McDaniels arrived: 20-2 Raiders when leading by double digits at halftime in 1 season with Josh McDaniels: 0-4 Josh McDaniel Raiders literally lost games to a interim HC who had never coached in the NFL AND a QB who didn't know the playbook they've lost FOUR games after leading by 13+ points... THAT TIES THE NFL RECORD And finally, don’t forget desert Raiders are 0-4 this season when leading by double digits at halftime. They are first team since at least 1930 to lose 4 times in a season when leading by double digits at the half. FIRE JOSH AND PATRICK! HIRE HARBAUGH NEXT YEAR!
Talk to me about the Refs. Baker Mayfield and the Rams were loving all the assists. Regs came in clutch for LA for sure. Bet you wont talk about that on this show.
Cant agree more on the Carr redzone INT, I think all fans of the team and of football that watched said the same thing "take the fucking sack". This whole game was insulting to your intelligence and fandom as a Raider fan(been one since 8 years old, 28 now). They we're basically sleep walking into a win and fucked it off. Wasnt surprised because of the past collapses but extremely disappointed with how conservative they played at the end and the lack of complacency smh.
If they just take the FG at the end of the half instead of trying to do too much and throwing a terrible INT, they'd win. Then with a 4th-and-1 and a 1st down wins it, why punt it? You have the best RB in the league, just run it again and try to get the 1st down. Also, stupid penalties (especially the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty by slapping the ball out of Mayfield's hands after the sack) was also inexcusable. Mind boggling loss by Vegas!
@Duke Bonde you're really trying to get that Andy Dalton comparison to stick. I've seen it at least 5 other times on this video alone. I've yet to see anyone agree with you, though. I don't know, maybe your persistence will eventually pay off. I don't see it, though.
That Carr INT was inconsequential. You're still up by 13 going into the second half. How many times was Maxx Crosby held and how many flags did they throw? If Tillery doesn't slap that ball out, if Ferrell doesn't jump offsides on 4th and 3, if Amik doesn't commit DPI, Harmon has a pick-6 and the Raiders win 22-10. Was Carr's pass smart? No. Was it the reason the Raiders lost? Hell no!
Why is no one putting the spot light on Max Crosby. The video tape says it all. Not one sports announcer or talking head has the guts to spotlight his play. Its very disturbing!
You can clearly see that King doesn't like DC. He didn't put any blame on the HC for his lack of pass plays, and no blame on Graham and the vanilla defense he sends out there.
Derek Carr is the only player I know of that gets crucified for ONE bad play. That said, IMO, this is Carr’s worst season as a thrower and decision maker. I hope his arm strength is not declining. Carr has beaten Baker every time they’ve met except for this game, (for those that believe that means anything of value).
This is all on Carr. He’s been in this league 9 years and when he has to win, he loses bad. Look at what happened when we played Cincinnati and n the playoffs last year.
Generally agree. Forces the ball too much. Holds onto it too long, hoping to make the impossible pass. Doesn't move outside the pocket that well. For every impressive clutch throw he makes, he makes a costly bad throw. Raider loyal, good guy without a doubt. Entire team likes him. But he's just not the guy, and at some point the team is going to have to move on from him if they seriously hope to contend.
@@PhilAndersonOutside I like Carr but let’s face it, he’s not the guy. We want to pretend he is but I have not seen what I see in Baker Mayfield in 9 years and he has more talent than him. He just doesn’t have that dog, he has that sun is going to come out tomorrow attitude. I just want a fighter like how Rich Gannon was.
@@19DeMan77 I sometimes refer to Carr as the Anti-Jim Plunkett, who didn't have the greatest numbers, but was at his best when it mattered most. Carr is often the opposite. Great throws when it matters the least.
@NATO to be fair, Gannon was throwing to Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Jerry Porter, and Charlie Garner. There's a reason he wasn't winning MVP or considered elite until he was throwing to them. Not to mention, he was protected by Lincoln Kennedy, Steve Wisniewski, Barrett Robbins, and Frank Middleton. Throw in a MUCH better defense, and Gannon walked into a sweet deal. I like Gannon, even got his autograph when he played for KC, but he was fortunate to land in the situation he was in with Oakland. Yeah, he got a raw deal in the Super Bowl, but he still threw ALL those picks.
@@dl9232 Agree, he was on a great team, with a damn good coach at the time (Gruden). But Rich was a fighter. He also didn't make the horrible mistakes Carr seems to make every other game (don't bring up Super Bowl XXXVII. Bill Richardson coached the worst game in history that day.)
Ultimately it falls on the coaches and QB. I'd say the coaches and play calling first. Carr can look amazing and then lay eggs. I don't think the Raiders go anywhere with McDaniels and Carr. It doesn't help that the Raiders always get jobbed by the refs.
I see the QB as the general on the field directing his men into war. You don’t expect your general to shed any tears and you would hold your QB to the same standards. If you’re gonna cry during or after a game like Carr did in the past, then it’s time to move on to greener pastures like leading a church choir. Carr is a good guy, unfortunately football at the highest level requires you to have a killer instinct like Brady and Mahomes.
That interception was on the lineman who got collapsed into Derek. The second half play calling looked just like the other blown leads. Idk what the narrative could be other than squandered opportunities and dumb penalties.
You know even if Carlson got a FG on that it wouldnt stop the officials from costing the Raiders the game one way or another Vegas always bets against the Raiders and makes millions
Stfu! Stupid penalties by the Raiders and stupid play calling and a stupid, washed up QB are why they lose. There’s always an idiot with conspiracy theories.
I'm usually with Florio, but he is wrong on Carr. The problem for the Raiders is defense! It has always been defense. The Raiders have been bottom 1/3 for 15 years on defense. Carr's best year he had a defensive coach: Del Rio. Unfortunately for the Raiders the man at the top making decision's is an idiot. Star power and name recognition doesn't win games.

Carr was hit in the back bc the LT was pushed straight into him. How is that stupid on Carr?
@Duke Bonde He is a godd starting QB.
@Duke Bonde i dont view it that way at all.
@Duke Bonde there r similar qbs in terms of players or careers. The two we discussed dont have either similar.
Wasn't Derek Carr hit which caused the weird throw? Are they just ignoring it?
Yes, they are.
"The Raiders are the fourth team in a season to lose, after leading by 13 or more points."
Damn it Derek Carr, this is all on you.
Continue to hold Max Crosby the last two drives
The interception in the endzone Florio is talking about occured as Carr was hit as he was throwing. Florio you need to look at these plays more closely.
The Raiders loss stemmed from their predictable play calling. Predictably running the ball on first and second down. Every now and then you have to call some pass plays on those downs to keep the defense honest. The same thing with 3rd and short yardage, a run play all the time and the Ram defense was just sitting on it knowing the run was coming.
Take the damn sack like he always does. It was stupid period.
I agree, but I also believe that Mr ums ya know offense hamstrings carr. Look at how good he was with musgrave as oc and a scheme that wasn't elementary.
I thought he got hit on that play. Does that not count for anything?
This is the exact Derrick Carr typebof crap that has me 100% positive it's time to draft a young guy. Take a chance and move on. Send him down the road.
King might be one of my favorite football sportswriters out there, it's no coincidence his last name is KIng.
According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Rams’ 98-yard TD drive was the longest go-ahead TD drive that began in the final 2 minutes over the last 45 seasons
And this
Davante Adams played 62 games for the Packers in the regular season & playoffs from 2018-2021.He caught less than four passes only ONCE in those 62 games. He already has four games with fewer than four catches this season with the Raiders. All four, Ls. What is Vegas doing?
Now a side of these
Derek Carr's 36.9 passer rating tonight for #Raiders was the worst of his career. Previous low was 48.1 vs Eagles on Christmas night 2017
Raiders when leading by double digits at halftime in the 10 seasons before Josh McDaniels arrived: 20-2
Raiders when leading by double digits at halftime in 1 season with Josh McDaniels: 0-4
Josh McDaniel Raiders literally lost games to a interim HC who had never coached in the NFL AND a QB who didn't know the playbook
they've lost FOUR games after leading by 13+ points...
THAT TIES THE NFL RECORD
And finally, don’t forget desert
Raiders are 0-4 this season when leading by double digits at halftime. They are first team since at least 1930 to lose 4 times in a season when leading by double digits at the half. FIRE JOSH AND PATRICK! HIRE HARBAUGH NEXT YEAR!
Harbaugh wants no part of that dumpster fire! No decent Coach wants to Coach those bums.
To be fair he was hit from behind, not just throwing it up for grabs
He got hit before it was released and still threw it up.
Don’t think they not killing the d coordinator enough … and the awful play calling in second half by mcdaniels
The defense let the team down! 98 yard drive.
The Raiders love driving a Salvage Title Carr.
It must to be a Toyota for sure, the motor still running like a champ for 9 years.
Carr ain’t it he’s had an ok run I guess 😅
This vid could’ve been 7 mins if he didn’t talk so damn slow
1.5 speed ftw
He talks like he’s telling you a scary story over the campfire
It’s obnoxious
Time to go Carr. You can't get any first down in the 2nd half to put game away.
He could have just fallen down and we get 3 points
when it happens over and over it's not bad luck! 4 huge leads, 4 loses
Carr is not elite and never will be, he good but not great, he will never win a Super Bowl or a playoff game.
Yes. The got gun shy not getting the 1st down on 3rd and 1, and didn't go for it on 4th and 1.
Raiders are the most patient franchise ever.. Carr sucks and they still stick with him over these years…
@Duke Bonde you're really trying to get that Andy Dalton comparison to stick. I've seen it at least 5 other times on this video alone. I've yet to see anyone agree with you, though. I don't know, maybe your persistence will eventually pay off. I don't see it, though.
@Duke Bonde with anyone else besides you?
Please Forward this episode to Mark Davis. PLEASE !!
Hell no!
He was clearly bumped by his lineman which changed his throw
These guys are hilarious despite the phaxseen damage
Send that piece of Carrbage to the Texans because that's who he wanted to draft him back in 2014!!!
NFL on NBC can't pay for actual clips? WTF
9 seasons in and A LOT of Raider fans are like give Derek Carr just one more season.
Lol Derek carr is mediocre but he tries hard that what counts
THAT INTERCEPTION, etc.
“Stupid, stupid, stupid play.” Goodbye Carr!
Guy on right is right
That interception was on the lineman who got collapsed into Derek. The second half play calling looked just like the other blown leads. Idk what the narrative could be other than squandered opportunities and dumb penalties.
PETER KING SPEAKING FACTS!!!!
People talk shit about Carr. But the play calling simply garbage.
Look Russell Wilson difference now
Offensive coordinator is Factor
As a Raider fan he was dead one right. just take the sack D. Carr or atleast throw the ball away
Totally agree with Peter
Just when you want to believe in them!the raiders disappoint everybody and it's been like that for way to many years!!
