I'm 56 years old. I'm not naive enough to think no NFL coach or assistant was/is racist. That's called. Not news.
Every company in the US has at least one executive who is of has connections to the KKK. Jesus my friend's dad in Pittsburgh was a member of the KKK.
I find it impossible that Gruden after coaching so many years , players had no idea about his attitudes. And many didn't care if he could help them and the team win.

The emails that came out were fairly mild. And even after they came out, people like Mike Tirico, Charles Woodson, Jerry Rice all backed him up.
People don't seem to know this, by Darren Waller, who was an amazing tight end that Gruden picked up off the streets practically, checked out on football because of Gruden's firing. That's why his production went down, and that's why he stopped caring and gave low effort.

So where lies the void in his life? Coaching. The stars are aligning and Davis is going to bring him back. I think any such deal must give him some kind of immunity going forward. Gruden I think knows some people are still politically correct(mentally ill)but the bottom line is fantasy, selling the illusion that football is.
