I like your RUclips Channel, Howard. I like it because this is mainly based on the Northumbria Table Tennis League and also the Sunderland. If I don't know how the other player plays that I might be playing at sometime, I can just search him/her up on RUclips and it will bring me to your channel. 🤣Thank you.
Good game Howard. Would recommend when you’re blocking that you lighten your grip as much as possible (obviously without having it so loose that you let go of the racket) because the ball looked to really kick out your racket with the slower spinner shots and I think it would improve your blocks even more. You’re technique was looking much better though, especially your forehand
@@oliverh1033 - thanks for your feedback I do appreciate it. I will try that re the block to improve further. One thing about having this channel is that you do get mainly good and constructive feedback which yours is. Can I point out please one point that may help you Oliver ? Your serve ball toss looks like it is going backwards more than 30 degrees (I thought my serves were absolutely spot on until I got the RUclips channel and I realise that sometimes I don’t toss the ball up 16cm/6 inches AND on my tomahawk I sometimes throw the ball backwards too much. IF you look closely at ANY local league player you will likely see some fault in their serves. You will likely progress to County plus levels and my shout out is from a place of only helping you not criticising as, when you play at those levels a strict umpire MAY comment on your serves. Oliver - you are a great sportsman and the fair and courteous way you conduct yourself on the table is a credit to you - other people on the TT local league circuit could learn a lot from you. I also think you have gone up another level since we last played so keep the hard work up and all the very best.

Cheers adam
@@oliverh1033 haha youre welcome
@@oliverh1033 thought you were going to 11-0 him in the first end
@@adamtt2009 I wish 😂
Thanks Adam - I appreciate your feedback - Oliver is a great player and role model for young table tennis players. All the best.

Also having a looser grip will also help loosen your wrist and forearm which will help your other strokes
@@oliverh1033 yeah, also i think he needs to throw the ball up a tad higher. It would be considered as an illegal serve
@@adamtt2009 I would say he throws the ball high enough for all of his serves, maybe the tomahawk serve could do with a slightly higher throw
@@oliverh1033 yeah, he is a bit too tense aswell
