    Thiem sure hits way down on power in this session. During matches he usually plows through every single ball. I guess that makes sense on a practice but still the difference in stroke power looks massive to me.

    • @MP_Tennis
      @MP_Tennis 6 лет назад +1

      not easy to inject power if you train with Kachanov who already bangs the crap out of every ball :D

      im not saying i could ever beat either of these players in a match, or that i'm some pro-tier player, I'm just wondering what the hell was going on in this occasion. I mean i'm no professional tennis player but I've had better rallies than many of the ones in this vid.

    • @adamgosztolai1502
      @adamgosztolai1502 6 лет назад +12

      They were practising how to accelerate the ball, which is tricky. Check the practice videos of Federer when he’s honing his mega forehands, he’s making many mistakes. This is why it’s a practice session

    • @angejo5591
      @angejo5591 6 лет назад +9

      Bonjee this is practise and they aren’t tryna focus on getting the ball in. And what I find annoying is how people think pros are gonna be *amazing* all the time, whereas here they probably weren’t playing well. But the best players will be able to not play well and still find a way to win _in matches_

    What a life a tennis pro has. Wish I'd have tried harder when I was a kid to be one as I'm sure I'd have made. I could have been a contender if not for discovering cigarettes and alcohol. I'd have probably been better suited to the 70's!

    khachanov is better on hard courts than thiem .. he should concentrate on clay and grass only .. the latter because he has a good serve, slice and feel for the game .. there are better players than him on hard .. 10 or so ..
