This is our very first session, and Kahu's first proper interations with people besides having been put in a race for sedation - gelding & m'chipped.

A New intro sequence has been edited to Welcome my new little friend.
Lots of helpful instructions throughout the video that i was guided through.

A Formal Video to Follow.... Meet my new little friend, Kahu.
As of end February 2024, he was vetted at approx 4 Months, i got to meet him almost a month later and spend a couple of days starting his handling... while i didn't score his first halter session, i did however, earn his first touch (with a whip as an extention of me) in our first session....
and earn him sniffing my fingers in our second...
Prior to leaving the sanctuary on the second day, Kahu surprised me with allowing my fingers to graze his nose..... I couldn't have thought of a better way to leave my impression on him.
Plans to bring him home before May... but this also depends on if he is ready to go... sadly due to drive distance, I am not in a position to see him regulary, so I will have to wait a little while for our reunion.

Smart little foal.
Yes he's very smart, approx 6 months old there
He is lovely❤❤ . Will be a very nice horse once he grows and fills out a bit. 😊😊
Kahu is just a baby at approx 6 months. lots of growing to go. I would estimate him to mataure around 14hh. for comparison, Jewel was 13.3hh, Yep! a little lady.
So tiny little horse ! How old is he ?
Approx 4-5 months there.
