- Making progress on the Tundra in today's video. It was a bit of a rush on this one, to get the truck to a "legal" point so i could drive it while my wife was out of town with the other Daily Driver but we got it done...or did we?!

Did you have to treat your truck frame with any paint or por15?
Its a newer frame replaced under the warranty. Coating the frame is on the list, but I have a big project I want to get done first.

Nice job...how are the brackets installed on the frame and bed? Are those fully welded or bolted? Can you take off the bed if you need?
It's a 2 piece bracket. The bottom piece is a box with a captured nut welded to the frame. The upper piece is essentially a box cut in half diagonally and welded to the bed. Then all bolted together. 6 2 piece brackets in total
where did you get chassis bracket mount?
everything is "custom" built. I cut 2x2 square tube at an angle and welded flat stock on top
Do you think it’s necessary to have the bed on those mounts? Is it a tire clearance issue? I’m planning my build out now
no its not necessary. i had a specific look i was going for as well as a plan for a bigger tire.
