If you look at the concept art they put out for the ride, it showed the vehicle on the ground with treads, indicating it was meant to move along a flat plane the whole time. But yeah, it would have been better to have the cars move in some way with like a motion platform or something

The ride honestly seems very underwhelming. Seems kinda cheap and you can tell they really want you to spend that extra $70 for the web shooter for cooler animations, more score, etc. Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at Islands of Adventure is a way better Spiderman ride....and that opened 22 years ago lol.

I mean think about that too, though. Rise of Resistance opened a little while after Smugglers run. They are also very confined by space at Disney Land. Luckily I live only 5 hours from WDW, but if they ever can figure something out with Universal they could do something way cooler there with more space. GOG ride looks awesome though
the ride felt underwhelming and short compared to other experiences at the park, however the land was amazing and the food and drinks were great. I also had issues with my glasses fogging up really bad during the ride so it was hard to see and I had to keep wiping them down after each area which took away from the fun.

Fix: add more practical elements, special effects, maybe even actors inside battling out a villain where you can shoot webs and help defeat them with Spidey. Since its all screen, change scenarios and make it versatile. Dr strange: literally a magic show that lacks "magic" Fix: special effects, interactive set pieces so the crowd can be involved with helping strange, inviting an audience member to assist or cast a portal....so many things could've been done well. Only thing that's decent in the park is the test kitchen.

I understand that the area is small it replaced bugs land and that wasn’t a big area, but I really wish this place was a bit bigger. Marvel made the company so much money and to get a very small area with one lackluster ride when we already have 2 shooter games in the park, it could be better. Also man even tho I haven’t been to it, I really wish we coulda had a ride like the one in universal.

I think the lockers are suppose to represent new & old upcoming heroes like the heart one is Riri Williams. I don’t think Disney has property to get other Spider people cause they haven’t been shown in media & they are still under Sony.
This ride is literally like the Smugglers Run of Avengers Campus, because the actual big Rise of The Resistance style Avengers ride was postponed because of covid and probably won’t open until 2022.
I don't have much of an interest in either Star Wars or Avengers, but I really like how immersive Galaxy’s Edge is, as well as how creative the rides are. Its really a land you can spend hours in even without doing the expensive extra experiences. Avengers Campus seems like much less of a complete land and more as a random collection of avengers themed stuff, with a ride that’s not that creative. It seems like Galaxy’s Edge was designed for anyone to enjoy while Avengers Campus is more just for avengers fans. I’ll have to see what its like in person, but that’s how it seems to me right now.
The walk to the ride seems more entertaining than the ride tbh. All the fan service and easter eggs looked fun, but if I waited over an hour in line for a glorified Kinect mini-game, I'd walk away super annoyed. I want my rides to actually feel like going on a crazy ride, I don't really need them to be interactive like this.
I’m going to come right out. I reminded riding it for this first time. At the beginning when the spider bot jumps toward you before Spider-Man stops it, I jumped in my seat. I jumped in my seat! That was how good the 3D effects were. And the web slinging was so cool. Not only are the webs different colors so you can identify your shots, but you can do more than shoot projectiles, you can shoot like a rope of web to drag a spider bot onto another or pull a lever.

Peter and Kitra! If you bought the Spider-Man figure with the small Spider-Bots, not only will they fit on your droid shelf but they also interact with the RC Spider-Bots when shot by a blast.
Tony has different Iron Man Mark +40(?), they could blast the spiderbots from above and could probably detect even those that are hiding through help of JARVIS or whatever AI Chip he'd use... I just think it'll be a fair fight. they won't fight each other to death because they both have love and respect for each other... Theyre both very smart. MCU Tony has a lot of fighting experience. MCU Peter watched enough movies.
However if they happen to wat to fight each other to death a planned mission ambush could kill Peter. Maybe bring some of the Iron Man suits. To make things easier.
I think initially Iron man would be on top in a fight, but Peter is really smart and knows technology and maybe what can be done to disable the iron man armor, not to mention his incredible strength, agility and webs. In the end I think Peter could pull out a victory by using his advantages over Iron man.

In the MCU Ironman would win, he’s more seasoned wears Spidy is still learning his powers, plus Tony built his suit and might be able to use it to restrain him, like a “grounded” mode. But in the comics, might be a different story.

Glad to see some on ride video with the music, narration and dialog working. The other videos I’ve watched without it made the ride seem lifeless.

There is, it was announced a couple of years ago at D23. It was planned to open during phase 2 of the Campus opening.

I think the lockers are suppose to represent new & old upcoming heroes like the heart one is Riri Williams. I don’t think Disney has property to get other Spider people cause they haven’t been shown in media & they are still under Sony.

This ride is literally like the Smugglers Run of Avengers Campus, because the actual big Rise of The Resistance style Avengers ride was postponed because of covid and probably won’t open until 2022.

I don't have much of an interest in either Star Wars or Avengers, but I really like how immersive Galaxy’s Edge is, as well as how creative the rides are. Its really a land you can spend hours in even without doing the expensive extra experiences. Avengers Campus seems like much less of a complete land and more as a random collection of avengers themed stuff, with a ride that’s not that creative. It seems like Galaxy’s Edge was designed for anyone to enjoy while Avengers Campus is more just for avengers fans. I’ll have to see what its like in person, but that’s how it seems to me right now.
The walk to the ride seems more entertaining than the ride tbh. All the fan service and easter eggs looked fun, but if I waited over an hour in line for a glorified Kinect mini-game, I'd walk away super annoyed. I want my rides to actually feel like going on a crazy ride, I don't really need them to be interactive like this.
I’m going to come right out. I reminded riding it for this first time. At the beginning when the spider bot jumps toward you before Spider-Man stops it, I jumped in my seat. I jumped in my seat! That was how good the 3D effects were. And the web slinging was so cool. Not only are the webs different colors so you can identify your shots, but you can do more than shoot projectiles, you can shoot like a rope of web to drag a spider bot onto another or pull a lever.

Tony has different Iron Man Mark +40(?), they could blast the spiderbots from above and could probably detect even those that are hiding through help of JARVIS or whatever AI Chip he'd use...

I think initially Iron man would be on top in a fight, but Peter is really smart and knows technology and maybe what can be done to disable the iron man armor, not to mention his incredible strength, agility and webs. In the end I think Peter could pull out a victory by using his advantages over Iron man.

I don’t know why but I found this funny, when you guys were slinging your arms. Disney needs new ride ideas instead of recycling everything. I’m not even a big Marvel person and I feel like Disney is not doing them justice.

If it takes place after endgame, no one would really win because spider-man would have no one to fight... because... iron man died... . If it was before, I think that spider man would win. even though iron man could easily defeat peter with all his tech, he would not want to hurt Peter and let Peter win.

The wizarding world of Harry Potter is amazing but i do have to admit, the Avatar land in Disney was incredible to see, even if you’ve never seen Avatar. Then again, once you’ve seen Avatarland the first time, you’ve kindve seen it all, where in Universal i could spend the entire day in Harry Potter World

I love how the ride make you shoot webs like Spidey, but hopefully they advance this in the future. Make it more unique and different. Disney please don’t let us down, especially this is Spider-Man! We all want to become Spider-Man 🥲

In the MCU Ironman would win, he’s more seasoned wears Spidy is still learning his powers, plus Tony built his suit and might be able to use it to restrain him, like a “grounded” mode. But in the comics, might be a different story.
Iron man would win in a physical fight because he has more experience and better tech. In a movie trivia fight Peter has the upper hand. It all depends on the kind of fight. Although I wouldn’t want Spider-Man and Ironman to fight
