- We are back at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure to experience WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, the new Spider-Man ride that is opening up with this Marvel-themed land. We have video of the queue, complete with Easter eggs, the preshow scene, and a ride through of the ride itself. We also will check out all the new Spider-Man and Avengers Campus merchandise in WEB Supply and the Avengers Pod.

The ride honestly seems very underwhelming. Seems kinda cheap and you can tell they really want you to spend that extra $70 for the web shooter for cooler animations, more score, etc. Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at Islands of Adventure is a way better Spiderman ride....and that opened 22 years ago lol.

I was hoping at the least the vehicle shook and went through some what big sets. I guess we will just have to wait to be amazed by the Quinjet ride.

If you look at the concept art they put out for the ride, it showed the vehicle on the ground with treads, indicating it was meant to move along a flat plane the whole time. But yeah, it would have been better to have the cars move in some way with like a motion platform or something
I wish they’d made the 3D glasses look like Tony’s EDITH ones!
I like the style they made them in, they could have just gone with the generic ones at all the other 3D rides

Relax, man. Don't forget that we still got the e-ticket attraction at Avengers HQ opening up later and a rumored Wakanda themed expansion. My money is on Disney pooling all their resources into the Avengers e-ticket attraction.

I mean think about that too, though. Rise of Resistance opened a little while after Smugglers run. They are also very confined by space at Disney Land. Luckily I live only 5 hours from WDW, but if they ever can figure something out with Universal they could do something way cooler there with more space. GOG ride looks awesome though

I love that yall made it on the Disney Park Channel speaking of Pym Test Kitchen.
the ride felt underwhelming and short compared to other experiences at the park, however the land was amazing and the food and drinks were great. I also had issues with my glasses fogging up really bad during the ride so it was hard to see and I had to keep wiping them down after each area which took away from the fun.
Glad to see some on ride video with the music, narration and dialog working. The other videos I’ve watched without it made the ride seem lifeless.
I’m pretty sure they were always working, but they had them turned off so they could tell which videos were recorded before they should have been because they are often strict for videos

I’m really happy Universal won the rights to Harry Potter after seeing what Disney has initially done with Star Wars and Marvel in their parks
The wizarding world of Harry Potter is amazing but i do have to admit, the Avatar land in Disney was incredible to see, even if you’ve never seen Avatar. Then again, once you’ve seen Avatarland the first time, you’ve kindve seen it all, where in Universal i could spend the entire day in Harry Potter World

Iron Man would DEEESTROOOY. Not only can he disable Spider-Man’s suit, but those webs ain’t gonna do nothing against a faint hulk buster. From watching civil war, we can assume Tony has analyzed Peter’s fight patterns as well and can therefore predict how the fight will play out and how to prepare for it
Honestly, the Spider-Man ride at Universal Studios is way better because you actually feel like your apart of the ride with the seat shaking and the spinning
I really hope Avenger's Campus ends up being like Galaxy's Edge where the second E-ticket attraction ends up being significantly better than the first one because Web Slingers seems quite disappointing.

Ironman would for sure win because he's got more experience and time in! Plus Peter always seems to be getting himself in trouble! Lol
I don't have much of an interest in either Star Wars or Avengers, but I really like how immersive Galaxy’s Edge is, as well as how creative the rides are. Its really a land you can spend hours in even without doing the expensive extra experiences. Avengers Campus seems like much less of a complete land and more as a random collection of avengers themed stuff, with a ride that’s not that creative. It seems like Galaxy’s Edge was designed for anyone to enjoy while Avengers Campus is more just for avengers fans. I’ll have to see what its like in person, but that’s how it seems to me right now.
Unfortunately from what ive seen. Campus is underwhelming and deserved better.
Yeah... It could have been SO much better from what I'm seeing, and although they should gear this to adults who would TAKE their kids to spend money, it seems like it's for kids and they know adults would go.
It’s such a small area and this is only phase 1 of the project. The big “e ticket” ride is phase 2 of it. Much like Galaxy’s Edge at first, the best is yet to come.
@@damongray5763 small area, but could've been way more. The spiderman ride is literally toy story mania with an arm workout. Fix: add more practical elements, special effects, maybe even actors inside battling out a villain where you can shoot webs and help defeat them with Spidey. Since its all screen, change scenarios and make it versatile.
Dr strange: literally a magic show that lacks "magic" Fix: special effects, interactive set pieces so the crowd can be involved with helping strange, inviting an audience member to assist or cast a portal....so many things could've been done well. Only thing that's decent in the park is the test kitchen.
@@damongray5763 also to add it's been two years since edge has opened and they haven't even bothered to change the mission layouts with the falcon ride. Honestly star tours is way more exciting to go on than smugglers because you don't know which scenario your gonna get.
I understand that the area is small it replaced bugs land and that wasn’t a big area, but I really wish this place was a bit bigger. Marvel made the company so much money and to get a very small area with one lackluster ride when we already have 2 shooter games in the park, it could be better. Also man even tho I haven’t been to it, I really wish we coulda had a ride like the one in universal.

I love that in the Web posters they have Lunella Lafayette aka Moon Girl as someone working there. It's such a good Easter egg and I wanna see her in the MCU because her intelligence rivals Tony's.

From a realistic stand point, Iron man would totally win, he has the tech,experience, and ego. Although Spider-Man has room to learn plus a fan base behind him, let’s not forget iron man is pretty much a war criminal.

This looks amazing, I love shooter rides. Kitra you make me laugh so much with your web slinging poses. And thanks Peter for highlighting it's 'plus-size' friendly, I wish more places had rides which are.
I think initially Iron man would be on top in a fight, but Peter is really smart and knows technology and maybe what can be done to disable the iron man armor, not to mention his incredible strength, agility and webs. In the end I think Peter could pull out a victory by using his advantages over Iron man.

There is, it was announced a couple of years ago at D23. It was planned to open during phase 2 of the Campus opening.

Disney is putting them in their parks and movies, so lets see if they last and are received well, you know like the obvious decline in interest the MCU is already receiving.

The walk to the ride seems more entertaining than the ride tbh. All the fan service and easter eggs looked fun, but if I waited over an hour in line for a glorified Kinect mini-game, I'd walk away super annoyed. I want my rides to actually feel like going on a crazy ride, I don't really need them to be interactive like this.

In the MCU Ironman would win, he’s more seasoned wears Spidy is still learning his powers, plus Tony built his suit and might be able to use it to restrain him, like a “grounded” mode. But in the comics, might be a different story.

If it takes place after endgame, no one would really win because spider-man would have no one to fight... because... iron man died... . If it was before, I think that spider man would win. even though iron man could easily defeat peter with all his tech, he would not want to hurt Peter and let Peter win.
