My little dog follows me everywhere, and he has gotten shut in the laundry, garage, and guest rooms. That moment of realizing they're missing and then the frantic search and finally seeing their tiny faces, whether it's hours or minutes, it's still gut wrenching. So glad you found her!

I lost my thirteen year old Weimaraner last month and I have to say, you sharing your grieving process over Linx really helped me to understand how normal my reaction and grieving process was. Seeing you get new pets over the years since his absence gives me hope that my heart can love again. I’m glad Lummi is okay too though ❤

So sorry to hear of your loss I too have had the unfortunate experience of kitties passing and the grief and pain is a journey as a pets love is unconditional .. I now have two six month babies who needed a mommy and I too needed them to once again open that special place in the heart that holds so much love for sweet furbabies! Prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time and I hope when you feel ready there is a special one waiting for you🥰

This happened all the time with my old cat Charlie. He was very friendly, very social, everyone loved him, but he had a habit of hopping in the car with people. Most of the time he would hop in with my dad and go pick my sister and I up from school, but every once in a while he’d go for lunch with a work crew or get locked in the living quarters of my mom’s horse trailer. It gave us mini heart attacks too 🥰

For those so concerned, if you have watched her videos for any period of time do you think if her cat went to heaven the mention of it would be the second thing listed in the title and not the first? Do you think she would be smiling in the thumbnail when a photo of her crying would get more views? Were you here when she lost her other cat Linx? There is a lack of critical thought in the viewers freaking out. You are watching her life, but please know you cannot control her life, and if you want to that makes you the problem. Just back from a trip to Scotland! It was beyond amazing and took our breath away. Rented a suv took the nieces and the dogs and drove to Oban. We ventured to the Isle of Mull and travelled to Loch Ness and Culloden and really want to explore again. Thank you for the inspiration x

I watched your previous video and I'm still watching this one, but I have to say that I love that you're looking for more natural foods! I have to say though (as someone with some food restrictions) that the more you restrict what you eat, the harder it will get to eat out. I started the process of "eating clean(ish)" and it became REALLY hard to go to a restaurant because my body wouldn't tolerate processed food . Nowadays I have a hard time because of it, since my tolerance to food that isn't homemade is low. When I travel, for instance, I have to be very careful with my meals, they have to be planned beforehand and that kind sucks since there's not much room for a spontaneous decision. I'm currently looking for balance, I allow myself to eat processed food but I try to avoid it and I eat healthy food every day (I eat lots of vegetables and fruits). I just felt the urge to share this with you, Lydia, because I know the feeling of trying to change and realizing that there's processed food everywhere - like the tea you mentioned - and because in the last video, you said something about chemicals. I personally believe that it is important to find balance in life since not every chemical is bad for us, sometimes they can actually help (i.e. table salt with iodine). I know that this is a personal story, but I just wanted to share it here. I hope you can find the best path for you and that this brings you joy. Love ❤

I have a friend who wants to do this but the collar she puts on her cat is designed to break away for safety in case she gets caught on something like a branch outside so she doesn’t choke. The tag would be left behind but that would be an off chance. But AirTags only work off pinging other wifi or other internet signals. She’s in the country so that might nit work there.
If it helps basil doesnt like overhead watering, rather they prefer to soak up water from the base

I absolutely love the smell of fresh tomato vine. My husband thinks I'm a bit nuts when I smell all the tomatoes when we're out shopping. I have never seen a tomato vine candle. I have to have one!
Oh Lydia, I love that you have chickens. They always make me smile when I see them. So adorable. Once when my cat Pippen snuck outside (he was an indoor cat) I was frantic. We didn't even notice for a while, then when we were going to bed, we started looking for him. My husband, Jim, said he might have snuck out while I had the doors open to and in the garage. The both of us got flashlights and started to look around the neighborhood calling for Pippen. We were frantic because we have Fishercats, coyotes, large owls and eagles/hawks around here. (Boston suburb) After a few hours we tearfully went to bed. But I couldn't sleep. I got up again and went outside and started looking for him all over the neighborhood and our yard again. I was about to call it quits when out from under a bush, there comes Pippen looking like everything was fine. I was so happy. I scooped him up and brought him into the house and then could happily fall asleep. Pippen had a little adventure at our expense. ;-)

I've loved art almost my entire life, and as you have a growing interest, are visiting galleries etc., and in the same vein as how you have said you wanted to experience ballet/opera/the theatre more, have you considered taking a trip to an art museum? You have so many lovely ones over there just in the london area that I have enjoyed multiple times, so I thought that was maybe something you might enjoy? I think the national gallery could be a good place to start, maybe? And maybe consider one of their guided tours - it could be that it could be one of the many new things things you learn about this year 😊 sorry to have gone on, but I just really like art (my personal preferred styles are impressionism, expressionism and surrealism). Yes, I would always go to the National Gallery when I was in London, and the Royal Academy and the British Museum. London is so rich in art.

Lydia, I would be very careful with your pets. When I saw the fox on one of your video's I instantly thought of your cat and the chickens. We had a neihbours cat killed by a fox. Just be on your guard as they are so quick and can come anytime of the day. So glad Lumi was fine.

Regarding your scatter cushions. You could have one type of colour/fabric on one side and a different one on the other on each cushion. It can make such a difference to the vibe of the room. My thought process: you've uploaded a vlog it means she was lost (missing) and found (hence, vlog) i think people panic and forget to use common sense when being online! But they're shocked it wasn't what they thought, so they comment out of anger. Real ones knew what you meant 🤍
