Hi, Jay. I’m using a smaller trowel last one was 11 inch, I will try and get one like yours. And doing the pick and dip method that you use. You tube Charlie Collinson, does some good videos on this 👍
Martin . In the comment section of the video “ my trowel “ you can find a link that’s put there by bric bybrick where you can order a Jung trowel in the UK if you looking for one , they are really cheap around 20 € and they last easily 10-15 years and longer
Nice video Question tho How comes you lay the blocks holes down Over here in London we lay them Other way and fill with concrete ? Love the way you have your profiles set from concrete tho 👍🏻
Cre8Brickwork good question , but I don’t know , we put them with the hole down and if you have a big joint as the concrete is a bit low we turn the hole up and fill it up When the job or stability needs full concrete blocks we order and lay full concrete blocks without any holes in , they’re heavy I was actually surprised when I saw other countries use them differently , maybe we ate the only country who does this 🙈 Don’t know about Holland or germany 🤔😅
Just came across your channel, good stuff, what's that trowel your using called. I like the design / shape and size, would like to get my self one. From the UK . Thanks 👍
Google truweel to find the Belgium trowels and metseltroffel to find the trowels they use in the Netherlands (holland) www.jung-henkelmann.de/ that’s a link to the Jung website that make these type of trowels . You can also get them on eBay Germany search maurer kelle or kellen . I’ve seen them also on eBay U.K.
Hi James , my trowel is a floreffe or Antwerp pattern but grinded a Brussels tip on it ,you can also buy the Brussels pattern but than you need to grind down the sides a bit , I find it a bit too wide otherwise ... that’s the shape of my trowel I will post a little movie tonight about it Thanks 🙏🏻
