House prices - double. Financial assets - to the moon. Wealth inequality - beyond extreme. Please stop "helping".

House prices have doubled because your nation is letting in millions of migrants a year and yet is building half as many houses as it used to.
Which also disproportionately benefits higher income earners AKA landlords which exacerbates inequality, there's other reasons too but that's a major one.

@@azalia423 I know, monopolizing supply will also raise prices, increasing public supply is a necessity. Non-profit publicly owned housing should be a human right, look at Vienna, Austria like 80% of their housing stock is publicly owned and thus they have low rents compared to most capital cities in developed nations.

Why do you imagine politics as something dirty? Or is it the trust deficit? Remember it's called political economy for a reason.

When they say take politics out of it, they mean take thr "democracy" out of it. Make it so these things actially happen rather than be subject to debate & obstruction which, lets be honest, is almost always some entrenched group protecting their interests from the public good. That's what 'democracy' is in our society almost all of the time.
