PZEM-017 DC Energy Meter DIY with PC and Arduino for Solar Application

This project is to acquire measurement data from PZEM-017 Peacefair DC energy module via RS485 for Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Monitoring application. It able to measure the 4 most important DC parameters : Instant Voltage, Current, Power, and accumulate Energy. You can read the value via 2 methods: using PC with manufacturer monitoring software, or using Arduino with RS485 converter module. The values can be displayed on LCD Display shield and also can be saved in SD Card using Datalogger Shield for further processing. Energy Monitoring often involved in solar photo-voltaic application. The measuring data can be saved and use in relation with other electrical parameters such as temperature, and AC power monitor.
