I have watched like 4 videos trying to successfully download this Office 2021. I finally got it to work thanks to this video. The key is you mention at the end that you select xml format. None of the other videos were doing that so the format was wrong. I was ripping my hair out and this was my last attempt before giving up. Thank you for this video.

If you guys have some problems after submitting the commands in the Prompt like I did, make sure the name of the .xml file matches the one you typed in the command.
I was having some problem because my .xml file name was written in italian, while I was using the command with the file name in english.

It worked after I uninstalled Office 2013. Thanks! Update: after a couple of weeks it pops a notice to register with a product key! It's not really free to keep. I had to uninstall and reinstall my 2013 version. I've watched over videos like with and they later tell you that if you want to keep this version you'll have to buy a product key.

Put the file in the same directory as where your windows is installed.
I got that same error when I put the file on my 2nd disk drive, but when I put it on my 1st disk drive, it worked.

No need to keep deployment tool nor the config xml file.
If anyone has downloaded office in another language than english, be sure to rename the filename to "configuration". As a german, for me it was initially written with a "k" at the beginning and it didnt find the file. Otherwise great vid, thanks a lot. I wonder how microsoft lets that work so easily, with their own files.

Hey, I did the same procedure as you told in this video but when I open the word one pop-up prompt is open in which the mentioned text is written "This is copy of Microsoft Office is not activated" - This copy of MS Office is designed for corporate or institutional customers. Connect your computer to your corporate network to complete activation. Your system administrator can help. These are the exact word are written in that pop-up prompt. Help me ASAP if you read this and tell me what to do to fix this problem

Just to maybe make life easier to some people, by doing this method you basically get a free trial. I unfortunately had to find this out the hard way when doing a very important paper for my school. I am very frustrated now because when the trial expires, you won't be able to use word or any other office application. If you are looking for a long term solution i suggest skipping this video. Very misleading 👎

The one problem I had was that it wouldn't change the directory to D:// in cmd, so I just moved the new folder to C:// and it worked. Another thing, if you change the language, make sure to name the file "Configuration" so that the command can work

if anyone has another hard drive or ssd and needs help with the command prompt just type in "/d" before the path to your folder to change the directory. For example it should be "/d D:\Office Folder" (or whatever you named it as) to which you follow the video as normal and put in the setup command after

It says ''we couldn't find the specified configuration file. Check the file path and file name'' after the code thing but I did check it, I redid it multiple times. I even deleted every single thing I had installed from the video and restarted and it still says the same thing. I made sure the file was exactly how you did it, on 'This Pc' and 'Local Disk' and it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me with this?
I also got encountered with this problem. Pls delete all old files of ms office in your pc including one note. Then try to reinstall.

Splendid, worked perfectly. If anyone had trouble with last step check the command is:
setup /configure Configuration.xml
tho configuration is the name of the file, if you have it in any other language check that it might have been named differently. In my case was 'Configuración' since it's in Spanish.
Well this worked for about a month. Then the next time I ran Excel (as part of Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021) I got a dialog box that said, "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated." At the bottom there's a button to change the product key. So I guess this doesn't work for very long, after all. Or maybe this issue is because I *once had a licensed Office 365 copy on this machine and I cancelled that subscription*.
I noticed below someone has the same problem and you said just sign in with their Office license if they had previously had one. I went to that menu in Excel and saw that it still had my MS sign in name. So now, before I try signing out to see if Office still works, do you have any suggestion as to how to proceed? Thanks!

Note
Office LTSC 2021 is installed on the system drive, which is usually the C:\ drive. The installation location can't be changed.

suffering from the same problem. after surfing through many youtube videos i came to know that this office TLSC version can be rearm only three times for three months on trial basis after that either you have to purchase it or move to other cracked version. Lifetime free is useless

Has anyone confirmed what TYPE of activation key would be required for activation? He's done a good job of explaining how to install this version of Office, but some people are not picking up on it being a trial version. At some point, you have to buy a key. But my question is what type? Could an OEM or retail key work? Are there specific keys for specific version? Does this bypass having to create a Microsoft account to tie in with it's use and having to register?
