Hey, I’ve got a formentor vz3 and I’ve noticed that there’s no purple option for ambient lighting. There’s also no option for the driving animation in cupra mode, have these options been removed ???

I’ve got the v1 cupra leon eTSI 1.5 with the single mono colour is it possible to code the other colours in?
Hi there. I got a cupra Leon ST with ambient lighting and am able to get up to 12 colors of choice coded, but can’t seem to get purple in there, however as basic setting the light can be Purple. If you have OBD11 of VCDS, can you share the hexidecimal code under control unit 09 -> interior light hmi config -> hmi ambient colors fod bitmask.

On the Cupra Leon eTSI 150 dsg it says ambient lighting with single monocolour lighting what does that mean??
Hi, that means there will be lighting, but not colours to choose from. I think it’s just red and white not sure tho.
Is it possible to have these animated so the colours slowly change continuously whilst you’re driving?
Unfortunately no. The best bet would be to go to someone who does interior lights but they’re not always best quality
@cupra guy. Hi I’ve just got a 2021 vz1 Cupra Leon 245. I really like the purple colour but can’t seem to find it anywhere. My software is 1940 if this helps. Thanks for any advice or help on this. I have 10 preset colours to choose from but no purple.
Hi, unfortunately the VZ1 models are restricted to a certain number of colours where purple isn’t present :(

@@nutton99 I’ve not done coding on the newer cars as it’s harder. Probably best way is to check with a Cupra dealership.

Hi, i have a leon 1.5 etsi business FR. İ dont have the purple collor and the active ambiant light setting. İ got the most recent software update. How can İ manage to get purple?
Hi, this is most likely because the specification of your car didn’t come with it unfortunately. It is an optional extra on some cars and a standard spec on the higher versions

As far as the Leon xcellenxe goes I’m not too sure but I think multicolour lighting maybe an optional added feature u have to pay for.
As far as the Cupra Leon’s go. I believe anything VZ1 trim and below only has monocolour lights (just white or red).
Seat are not very clear on their websites. They may say “wraparound lighting” is included but whether they have full colour set or not isn’t mentioned unfortunately.

Hey, that’s right. You can also manually turn the headlights on in the day, which will allow the ambient lights to show.
You can code it to be on, also when head lights are off. But this comes with the scandinavian DRL function, which also turns on your light bar in the rear when head lights are off.

Can any one help with the v1 formentor, when I go onto background light I can’t get the light on the dash to come on, or change any colours? Also how do I turn on the lights for the ac and speaker volume? Got the v1 today and absolutely love it but I couldn’t turn up the temp tonight as I couldn’t see it haha
the V1 doesn’t have the front ambient light unfortunately
I have just picked up the Leon 2023 and I can’t see the temperature button in the dark!! Is that a design feature (which would be so wrong) or am I missing something?
If you have ambient lights package with your car, it will only turn on when the headlights are on. i.e at night or if u turn the headlights on manually. The Temp controls don't light up in the dark. Its really stupid but that's with all models unfortunately.

Hi! It’s an optional cost on the Leon’s which is unfair.

I can’t be too sure but I would expect it to have ambient lighting. Perhaps not the selective colours which maybe an added package.
You got 10 colors.. my formentor got only 8 or 9.....
I love the purple one, but just this color isnt in my car -_-

Depends on the specification of the car. Either is has it or it doesn’t
