Picked mine up on Saturday so this is really useful, thank you. The only thing I don't quite get is the Auto button on the Clima bar (with the 3 dots) and what it achieves.
Its to set the speed how fast the designated temperature is reached. Therefore the fansspeed will be higher the higher this auto setting is set.
Lol i have been searching like a mad man for the radio's scan button and youre just like "you can also drag this out..."😂😂 thanks
Android carplay is wireless to
I've just got mine two weeks ago. I was expecting some lights on the bottom part of the console, where the controls are (the volume slider/buttons and clime + - ) If you drive during the night you can't see anything, it's more like a touch-and-see-what-happens thing. Unless I'm totally missing something, this is annoying.
Yea they don’t light up !! It’s so stupid honestly 😂. I’m doing a video next on 5 things I hate about the car and that’s at number 1
@@Cupra_Guy Please add to the list that the (optional) wireless charger cannot be switched off. It will heat up your phone to the point it switches off for cooling down.
This helps a lot for a new owner, thank you. 2 things I have to mention: Android is also wireless capable with full link. The winter tyre warning is essential in Germany when the speed index of your tires is lower than the speed your car is capable of. Its forced by law, that you have a sign in your cockpit that informs you of the speed limit of your tires. In my case with winter tires speed index "V", i turned the warning to 240 km/h to remind me that I´m not allowed to drive faster on the Autobahn because the car can go up to 250 km/h. If theres no build in warning you have to fasten a sign manually which reminds you of the speed limit.
android auto is capable but not every car accepts wireless, German imported cars are full link enabled just wired for example (90% of them)

I have a problem with the rear air conditioning…on screen in the back it says OFF and i cannot turn it on in infotainment too…somebody help to fix it?
…To "activate" rear AC please follow:
- go to rear AC menu (here you can see gray rear control buttons)
- tap on the numerical temperature value of the driver's side (on the top bar)
- tap "SYNC"

What Cupra model and trim is the car you are showing? Only asking because I’m getting a Formentor V2 delivered next week and wondered if it comes with the park assist.
Just picked mine up on Saturday and yes, has park assist.
This is a Leon VZ2 but I do have a Formentor V2 aswell. The Formentor has so many things as standard is amazing !!
@@Cupra_Guy Thanks for replying. I got my car Formentor V2 early February. It keeps calling the emergency SOS randomly. Taken it to the dealership and apparently this SOS problem has happened quite a lot 🤔. Now I’m waiting for some new ECU type of unit. I’m a little bit pissed off. I know Cupra are Seat (VW) but in the last 7 years of owning a Seat FR and then a Seat Cupra, I had no problems whatsoever with them from new. Now I get a Cupra and……..arrrrrgghhh 😂😂 oh well. Rant over. Other than that I like the car 🤣
@@ayrtonsenna7992 😂😂. I understand ur pain. When new technology comes it always comes with glitches 😂. My Formentor had the same problem and another issue with the reading lights inside, where sometimes they decide to not work at all..
Only thing I can think off missing on this? Is the Off Road setting after Cupra in settings

Another TIp, you can change the themperature by sliding themperature digits at top bar. Does anyone know how to "turn on" the seat heating with one click or other easy way? (most common: we must pick clima, heating seat, and finaly set intensity, its annoying)
I think I saw in another video that you just press the cold and hot button on the fixed bar below display; haven’t got mine yet so not been able to try it out
@@bryoneywilliams-peck9480 Wonderfully. It works. For the driver and passenger. Thank you. Now I remember how in the summer a passenger told me to turn off the seat heating which I had not turned on. He probably did it himself, accidentally adjusting the temperature. And I wrongly blamed Cupra. :-)
To operate this while driving becomes a driving hazard, I have not seen a review where they are not disappointed by this system, especially the in car temp controls, I left VW when the Golf Mk 8 came out went to BMW and this Cupra wouldn’t temp me back with this system.
Es fehlen viele neue DAB Radiosender-Logos. Weder bei SEAT noch Cupra kann ich diese Logos abrufen. Schrott. Früher bei MIB2 Radios ging es. Wenn ich mehr als 4 Sekunden auf die Homefläche drücke, kommt ein Menue Programm. Wo ist dazu eine Erklärung. EDV zu Fuß
My new v1 doesnt have the wrap around ambient lights under the front window but it looks like they are there b ut just not connected on this model. Is there a way of checking or getting these connected >?
I believe they don’t come as standard on the V1 unfortunately
I was about to buy a Cupra until I saw this lot, I know that I am not very tech savvy but this lot is just dangerous!
Most newer cars are like this. Everything controlled via screen 🫤
It isn't dangerous. I have a Cupra and once you get it setup to how you like it you just leave it.
Nearly everything, what about the top right widgets/favourite icon setup.
I’ve tried but I don’t think you can change the top right icons. Correct me if I’m wrong
@@Cupra_Guy Yes, you can change the Favourites to what you want. I set them as Lane Assist, Autohold, Steering heat...etc. Heated seats are controlled by double finger tap on the heater temperature buttons.

@@Cupra_Guy No, Swiss spec. But UK spec also have favourite selection.
