Have you guys thought of doing a deployment overview in writing. Like how to roll something out. Community tips etc. I never know about router client being an issue. .
Client client client, never repeater or router. we're using the default frequency in the US which I believe is 906.875 rebroadcast leave as default which is All
You can't go wrong with client. ONLY change to a repeater or a router if you've consulted with several experienced meshtastic users, and your node location has been verified to be worthy of the role.
Is there a way to see only active nodes on the node list? My node list in app shows 144 nodes but obviously most of those haven’t been seen in a LONG time. The one node screen you can go to tells you how many currently it sees will say 10-15/ total nodes. Would love to be able to define how recent a connection can be showed and forget the older ones or separate them somehow (iPhone app if that matters much for this help)
I can only speak for the iOS and Mac apps, but I believe they have a filtering mode where you can flip a switch to show "active nodes" -- I don't know what the criteria is for "active" but it seems to be nodes for which you have received telemetry data within the last 2-4 hours. See if that works for you.

Check out our website! We have a ton of great info that the various people from our community have taken the time to write down. www.austinmesh.org
What are your settings for repeater nodes? What works best for your mesh?
* client/repeater?
* Freq?
* Rebroadcast Mode?
Thank you.
