Enjoy the first two videos documenting Cumbres and Toltecs 4th of July train. Experience a 120-year-old DRG&W steam locomotive #463 and her history. She valiantly tried to climb the first leg of the mountain but was stopped by a faulty injector. Please enjoy!

I’m glad that their Denver & Rio Grande Western 463 has been saved after it’s problem in the 4th of July there. I have seen this locomotive back in July 2nd 2016 and July 3rd 2022 (As Rio Grande Southern 455).

Well, that’s something I wouldn’t expect to happen a malfunction with the injector. I hope the Cumbres and Toltec will fix the problem on 463.
