This actually looks really good. I'm hoping they implement more stuff for it. If they used goggles with a camera on it to see the stuff in front of you with the 3D objects overlaid based on the controller's and goggle's positions, that would be AMAZING. Like at 0:47 if you could actually see the robot flying to your left and shooting a fireball toward you. Only thing is that it would block your face for most of the Eye stuff, but it could be a really neat idea in some cases.
Playroom was the 1st VR experience I had and I will never forget it I was blown away and had such a blast. Those little robot dudes are stupid cute and wave when you look at them. Robot rescue was brilliant I cant wait to play the full game. I had no idea VR was so convincing. And Sony are only warmig up, this is just the start. One day there could be full head to toe gear VR set ups and we will wake up as robots ourselves hahaha.
I would love to have a fighting game where the players can use objects in your game room as cover. Maybe you could use your iPod to throw things at your opponent. This has such amazing potential.

Sony has always had some form of friendly game that worked with the PS Eye. It's not their main focal point, but it does allow other people to enjoy that kind of gaming experience. Think of it as a harmless bonus outlet that comes with the console.

Good for the kids and interaction with the family, can see continuous updates to add more wacky software/modes to the game over time. Hopefully it comes standard with the PSeye and isn't a separate game because I think they could sell a decent amount of PSeye's if it's included.
Ive looked this up and went through all settings is there really no way to remove the playroom icon, I don't have a camera and don't want this on my ps4
