Only issue I have is that the guns are wrong. If I remember correctly, the Eviscerator didnt have octuple barbette turbolasers. Although the guns on it have six barrels per turret, im pretty sure that was what he was going for. But if you look at the model in the game when you fight across the ship, it has the dual turbolasers of an ISD 1. Other than that though, its a brilliant model.
@@Foofi.e Usually for starwars ships there's minimal structural support, the hull of the ships themselves seems to be sufficient for the most part. In the case of Lego it would probably be best just to flesh out key sections (Hangar, bridge, barracks, mess hall, engine room, and some corridors.) Most of which could be accessed by removing plates and panels
@@JM64 I undestand this, however, this would be extremely difficult for lego to provide both a strong superstructure while giving a pleasing interior without losing some stability of the overall set, along with the extra wait from the interior would force the superstructure to be built even sturdier thus leading to a high piece countage, which Lego would most likely consider being too expensive as this could easily force a UCS set of such a grand size to cost over 1000 in whichever currency.
@@Foofi.e I built the Eclipse-class Star Destroyer by Jorstad Designs with full interior and it stays strong now for 1,5 years. It's roughly the same size as the other Star Destroyers shown in the video but with around 10k bricks. It's totally possible.
The instructions can be found here: www.brickvault.toys/products/imperial-star-destroyer Also the 2.0 version is now out and you can see the update video here: ruclips.net/video/5lOJGSTvWOk/видео.html
umm pretty sure thats literally impossible seeing as the star destroyer in cannon is over a mile long a mini fig scaled would be about the size of a boeing give or take. even if there were the microfigs it would still be ridiculously huge
Finally, there's an Imperial II-class!! Love how they tried to do the eight barrel main turrets, despite only fitting six, still appreciate the efforts on that. Those octo-barbartee main turrets or whatever they are called is actually my favourite part of the ship design.
I get how this is obviously more expensive than the sets lego releases but I find it kind of sad how official lego sets sometimes have huge gaps and "unfinished looking" areas even when they resell at a price of over 500. They don't need to be AS detailed and huge as these models but it's obviously possible to make seamless models if you do it custom. I don't get why it's seemingly not possible for lego to do the same thing in their sets. For example in this model the backside of the cockpit is amazing. A very intricate and difficult shape that is yet flawlessly closed up on every side. While in the official model this would be full of gaps etc. Long story short, this model is absolutely gorgeous in every possible way :)
Great work as always. I kinda hope not many people build it, though. A few of these in circulation would probably dry up continental supplies of light bluish gray pieces. >_
But wait, we see in Battlefront II the Eviscerator has 8 Dual Heavy Turbolasers from ISD Is. With FFGs Cymoon 1 Refit, it shows it as an ISD II bridge with better Turbolasers than an ISD II but sacrifices Ion weapons, thus making Eviscerator a Cymoon 1 Refit!

The seam on the MOC is so much better. It's what really turned me off of the UCS ISDs. There is such a large gap. Lego really needs to design some angled pieces that create a seamless ridge on the top. (Especially for $700)
Nope. This model is literally a supercar compared to the UCS one. This is your Ferrari or Rolles Royce and the UCS one is a Camry 2000. But MOC's like this are always far superior and better than LEGO sets. You'd have to be blind to think otherwise lol
