I do not like the Acolyte, but I do like your reaction content Catherine.
Crazy flashback right! 🔥 To siblings get into a fight one thing leads to another....what could go wrong 🤣🤘
The coven seemed to scream in unison so whatever happened was simultaneous.
Interesting that Mae said to Osha “you can’t go, WE’RE stuck here now” which to me makes me think Mae knew something else was going on to maybe keep the Jedi from leaving. Mother Koril was ready to kill the Jedi too and was not willing to split the girls up.
I'm wondering if Mae poisoned the mothers accidentally but she meant to poison the Jedi with Spice Creams as gifts. Those must've been brought into the story for a reason, right?
@@YodatheHobbit Something happened when they went on 'That walk to cool down' The Zabrak doesn't want them split, nor does mae. So clearly they go and probably try to have the Jedi kill each other with that possession spell. Then it backfires on them
also what's in that room the noise came from? the big engine looking room.. They have something brewing in there that could had something to do with this. IDK a lot of interesting stuff going on here.
Bless Cat, she proves you can possibly enjoy television episodes somehow.....in isolation.
mega flashback time!!! and the mystery and plot thickens!!! great reaction, Cat!!
Woo hoo! Thank you for posting!
Thank YOU for watching, Danny!!
This was definitely a "certain point of view" episode. I really enjoyed it as a character/lore building episode.
The Jedi Order as a group being flawed was always George's point, and I really appreciate that both the Jedi and the coven being shown as neither good or bad was a great interaction.
We don't know what the fuel source for Mae's lamp was, but also a fire didn't give Torbin his scars, which we see when Osha was waking up and so many other things that they are hiding from us - i am keen to see how this plays out, presumably we get another flash back a few episodes down the line
Not huge into the show so far tbh but have been looking forward to the reactions! I am def interested in seeing what happens with Master Sol
Withes in clone wars everyone cheers witches in this show they don’t like it
Yeah, so strange. Did people not understand that this is basically what Katie Lucas wrote about, just not Goth?
It's not just a coincidence the males of Dathomir lived elsewhere. They were a large group of self sufficient independent ladies.
I also don't understand why people think every Star Wars story needs to be a better story than the last. No one is asking for people to love this as much as Luke or Anakin's stories yet people treat it as such. Why can't an individual show just be treated like another Clone Wars story of the week in a longer format?
Conan O'Brien has TONS of unmemorable episodes as a talk show host, yet people only love him for his best stuff. And that's OKAY. That's how it should be.
It's unnatural to have the best, more badass plots all the time, always. This show is a GREAT scrumptious appetizer to hold me over till ANDOR and Ahsoka's Season 2.
Are you gonna react to HOTD season 2? Loved your season 1 videos.
Thank you, I will be!! Editing my reaction to episode 1 today! Will hopefully have it out by tomorrow 🔥🔥
We were concerned that you're training children the jedi are such hypocrites like they're the only ones who are allowed to train people in the ways of the force nothing about this episode goes against the lore
Very good point 👀 who are they to stroll in there like they own the place
One interesting detail that isn't obvious on first viewing is that Osha was sketching the Jedi Order symbol in her private booklet before she met the Jedi. Something was drawing Osha to her destiny as a Jedi.
So it's interesting that Osha and Mae are being pulled apart to different destinies, rather than parallel destinies.
Anyway, I do suspect Sol has tampered with Osha's memories.
It could be possible Mae threw the container of flaming liquid/lamp upstairs to spread the fire, which in turn caused all those explosions.
The last 5 minutes or so was nonsensical the witch clan just looked like they all fell down, if the fire got them or falling debris then it should have left scorch marks etc on their bodies. The "flashback" felt very incomplete (i think Osha's POV) which means we'll likely see another episode going over this again possibly from Mae or Sol's POV to fill in the blanks
I understand this not being everyones favorite series.. I do like it and find a lot of interesting stuff, questions and theories going in my head to what is going on.
Think it's Indara (not alone).. How else is Mae going to be found? trained by a 'Jedi'.. It's funny Indara and her Padawan are the only ones that die that fast and how it's done.. by Mae and Qimir's poison, could all be set up to be Indara and Torbin. Qimir seems to be a little fanboy and The sith/Master use that to keep Mae on track and draw Osha in.. They want to turn Osha as well. They even say 'Indara wanted Osha to stop training as a Jedi, she was pushing for it'

Don't empathize with a murderer. The jedi are hiding something though. The story was all over the place
Okay, lets just never think about Anakin again then. Bye Star Wars.... 😂
@T.elegram.Catherine_Lasalle Mae tried to kill her sister. Fratrucide is already probably the worst kind of attempted murder. She might not have been directed responsible for the death of her sisterhood but she likely was the catalysis..the witches look to have been killed by something other then a fire as there were no smoldering remains and how quickly Sol tried to direct Osha away from her mother. It is strange that osha mother is a Zabrak yet her and her sister have no Zabrak features. Her features don't even resemble Merrin who was a hybrid. Painting the jedi as child abductors felt wildly out of place. From what we are shown of jedi there is no reason for the jedi to want to train children of that age. Even though anakin was thought to be the chosen one the council still refused anakin even as a dying wish to qui gon. It took obi Wan to threaten to leave the order to train anakin for the council to allow it. The only way taking Osha in is if the experience with her becomes soo bad that age Becomes a huge reason that the jedi no longer take children they old. As of right now it makes very little sense.. the mother paints a huge picture that either witches or women or lesbian witches or some combination are oppressed when nothing in star has shown this to be true. Droids get mistreated often but i have never seen women get mistreated for the sole reason of being women. It seems like the writers want to insert their own politics into star wars. Palpatine who does seem to think humans are superior to other species and honestly has no redeeming qualities doesn't seem 1 bit sexist. None of the old republic nor kotor media seems to paint this image either . They never really showed LGBT character disgrimated against and I'm sure some species in star wars might be on gender or both gender. I'm guessing them being witches makes them be persecuted but as far as we know witches do channel magic through the dark side. That doesn't make then inherently evil but it makes a fear or aversion of them justified on a certain level. This is just details on episode 3 alone
Mother Koril noticed the generator was on the fritz early in the episode, but she didn’t say anything. We never saw Mother Koril’s body; I think she’s the Sith that Mae is answering to.
Yeah, possibly. Kind of hard to tell if that generator was on the fritz, or maybe it always sparks like that. I do feel like they intentionally lingered on it though for setup.
There was a reason for that. These were witches, so something was brewing in there.
Goooood point…
