Once I changed it to novice, the hoverboard started moving on its on..and not only that, but 1 of the pads doesn't even seem to work properly. Any tips?
you need a new gyroscope. technically one gyro should fix it though many people have better luck just replacing both gyros when one goes out. some people say it works best having two matching gyros. amzn.to/2bzYzTZ

When I take my left foot off of the mat, the light goes off, but when I take my right foot off…the light remains on and it doesn’t turn off after removing my right foot off of it, it also vibrates and beeps a lot, jolts when turning as well.

you need to be at least 50 pounds to ride it so it should require a lot of weight on it. not sure what you mean by a lot of weight. are you trying to just push on it with your hands and want it to move? you should be standing on it with your full weight.

Problem was on this video, it clearly states you showing us. But it's only telling us. I perfectly understand what you mean throughout your video.
