If you have problems, simply replace the battery, logic board, balance sensor and the wheels. Oh and don’t forget to check for loose wires 😂😂😂

can the balance sensors (accelerometer boards) be replaced with analog 2 way potentiometer joysticks for motor speed and direction control?
hello oscar, I would advise you to take a look at our recalibration video. if that does not work I would diagnose the issue as you needing one or two balance sensors replace. we would recommend you always use high quality parts on your device.

Hi there, great video , i have a strange issue with my hover board and was wondering if you could help me, when i get on to the board, if i gently want to role forward or back the board vibrates really bad as if the wheels don't know if they want to role forwards or backwards, similar to dismount problems people are having but the dismount is fine, the board doesn't shake on dismount and both lights turn off straight away.
if i lean on the boards with my hands to activate the board on the ground to move forward or back the whole board vibrates on the spot like mad to the point it leaps up off of the floor, literally it has jumped up about a meter off of the ground. i have done all the calibrating and when standing on the board it is fine, if i slowly want to move it goes crazy, once you are moving it is fine no problems its just on a slow gentle movement move off it goes nuts, any advice on what to do or parts you recommend would be greatly appriciated
I've been debating whether to put the wires inside or outside the battery casing. If I put them outside the sharp edges of the battery casing might chew up the wires. If I put it inside the wires might deform the battery. Which is better?
i have a QUESTION my hoverboard (the right side) seems to feel loose or delayed unlike my left side that reacts immediately i tried to tighten the wheels 4 bolts under the sensor board one bolt was slightly loose i reassembled and still have the same issue
have you tried a new remote for your model? most remotes are not specific to one board.
hey digital life x can you help me when i get on my board its fine but when you lean forward somtimes it just stops and makes you fall?
I just got a hover board and it worked fine. It was a hands free smart board x2 from swagtron. I works great but it doesn't charge like the others have posted below. When I plug in the charger the red light on the charger turns to green right away and the board just doesn't charge. I know that the charger light should be red when charging. The charging port is plugged in to the mother board. Would the board be defected or would you guess it would be the charger?

Hello, I just bought a hoverboard from a friend and it comes with a charger. I charged it for 1 hour and 30 minutes and it only lasted 25-30 minutes of riding around a little house before it started beeping with a red battery signal. Any help? Also, should you keep your hoverboard on when charging or should you turn it off?
Can you tell me where to buy a Swagtron t3 Logic board and balance boards too? I crash to a wall and after that only works if I leave te power on button pressed, but have 8 times red blinking. Thanks a lot

Hey so when i ride my board at higher speeds it will randomly wobble, sometimes just a little one and sometimes a big enough one to make me fall off, do you know what could cause this?
My hoverboard doesn't beep before it dies and the Light is always green, it doesn't die fast but I can't tell when its gonna die
hi i have changed all boards but only one side works as it should the other side the wheel locks you cn hear it trying to move,ive adjusted it to make sure its not catching on anything ive tried changing the wires round from the motor but then it goes crazy any ideas, ive also tried a different motor and still the same any ideas
Hi. I replaced the mail board and the balance sensor boards. Now when I turn on the hoverboard it is balancing it self without me stepping on it. I can still ride on it but when I step off it is still balancing. Check all the wires and connectors it looks good. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

It will be working fine, then it will Beeb and chuck me off and restart. It's like the power cuts for a second then switch itself back on.

I just bought a hoverboard. Internals are dated 2015. The insides are very clean and I dont think the board has seen much use. it is a V1.0.
It was sold as spares/repair.
The battery would not charge and showed 3.1v so I replaced the battery.
The battery was charged up without any issues.
When the board is switched on, all the lights briefly flash and the board turns off.
I have read somewhere that the V1.0 board had a fault that could 'brick' it and it would never work again.
what are your thoughts?
I took mine apart to buy a new body shell and the power button plug came off do you know where it needs to be plugged in??

My grandson has a Swagtron T1 short circuit, I unplugged the battery and all the other connectors and it still has the short circuit, the charger light goes out and there is a spark when you plug it in. ??? Any help appreciated.

Hey I received a hoverboard that came to the original owner broken. Specifically, it only seems to actually work when it's tilted far forwards, making it rather impossible to actually ride. Otherwise, it makes a loud, repetitive beep and a red light displays. When I opened it up and took a look at the various wires at one point, where the little connections covered in the plastic tubing are made battery-side, the green wire appears to be hooked up to the blue wire, the blue wire hooked up to the yellow wire, and the yellow wire hooked up to the green wire. Is this something that could cause this problem, and if it is, how should I go about disconnecting and reconnecting the wires?
I have a hoverboard that will not go into calibration mode. When I turn the board on it still works but the red light stays on and when you ride it, it is obvious that the board is not calibrated. I have tried many times to get it into calibration mode but the blue lights won’t flash no matter how long I hold the power button down. The red light flashes three times and then goes to a solid red circle... any help would be greatly appreciated
Hey my hoverboard keeps flashing red on the motherboard and on the top, when I try to get on it it beeps. It shows the red light as soon as I turn it on. I already replaced the censors and unplugged and re plugged the cords back in what should I do ?
Hi my hover board turns off by it self if you drive back and forward quickly or once I have been driving slightly uphill and it turned off as well than it just doesn’t want to turn back on but if I plug it in to the charger it turns back on and drive just fine is it something like battery management system or something ? How could I fix it ? Thanks
Hello, hope you can help me fault find my problem. I’ve changed out the gyro on my hover board and tested each corner with the blue lights which are working. The problem is that it beeps and turns on and the green lights in the centre flash up then disappear. It does not go into calibration mode only when I apply pressure do I see the blue light come on but no movement.

Hi I bought my hover board one week back but there is problem with it, when I start that it's shows me red light I reset the setting also but it starts for ones and again it's shows me red light, can you pleas help me out for it.
I'm hoping you can help. My son purchased a Hoverboard and got 2 days of use from it.
The symptoms are... The unit red error light comes on. I have tried to recalibrate it and get same error light. The blue LED light stays on on the right side. The same side wheel has more resistance then the other. I remove the cover and the logic board light seems to blink constantly with no pause in between. I have checked all the wires to verify there is no loose connection.
Trying to figure out if I need new Gyro boards, a logic board or a need wheel/motor.

My balance board only run one side, and the blue light turn on only that side too, like no power run on the other side. Do I need a new co-board?
I have a swagway 10inch - When I plug the charger in the light on the charger is green. When it is plugged into the board the light on the charger goes off I hear a little pop sound. hello. My son's hoover board only comes on when plugged in but i get a constant blinking green light. when i try to turn it on without the charger in comes on for a second and goes off. do you think it's the battery or logic board? i've checked and all the wires are secure. his hoover board has two batteries and logic boards, one on each side.
Hi my sensors went bad after I replace it the speed increase forward and back only on that side like 10 times faster can that be fixed? no blue light or any other warnings

There are so many different models & prices . you are the best video I've found yet .honest & helping people.could you suggest a good one that is durable ,will definitely work right out of the box that has smooth ride on rough terrain.we live in a rural area . nothing extreme but gravel driveway & Small hills ect.like the idea of metal rather than all plastic throw away models.at some point I will definitely have to try it out.im roughly the same size you are.avarage .thank you in advance.in NC USA . want to keep inevitable shipping & repair cost in mind also. Is there any difference in the sensor if the board is Bluetooth or not?
hey so my balance board works but when i try charging it, it says its already fully charged on the charger after like 5 to 10 minutes and then i turn it on and it's actually not. I already got a two new chargers and they say the same thing. any idea why also it wont last me even a black away of riding before it turns off
We have jetson motokicks. One works fine but the other keeps beeping and flashing when turned on. At times it powers up normal and tries going forward but stops and then starts beeping and flashing again. What could be the problem?

my hoverboard doesn't work on the right side, the circle light blink red and it make a beep on both side when putting weight on it, but the motor on the right wont work like the left side do when I step on the left side first but after taking my foot off the left and putting my foot on it again, the motor won't run. red light are blinking even after recalibrating the sensors. I just bought a 10 inch bluetooth hoverboard it's working perfectly fine but i opened it, just to make sure everything inside it's ok, but my only concern it's that the color wires for me don't seem to be connected right because they are not connected with the same matching color for example the green is connected to the blue and the yellow is connected to a different color. So should i reconnect all the wires to the same matching colors and if yes will my board still work fine please let me know asap so i can fix this if this could be a problem if it is a problem.

So I bought my balance board in October 2015 and used it for about 2 months with no issues, and I've never overcharged my board that I'm aware of? Recently, I was riding my board and it literally died as I was riding it with no warning (red light, beeping, nothing?). I assumed the board needed to be charged?! So I went home and charged the board as usual, and then attempted to ride it. Once gain, the board powered on and appeared to function normally and then shortly after as I was riding it it shuts off abruptly!! Once more with no warning and almost as if a wire was being disconnected mid ride. Please help! I feel like I now have a $300 paper weight :( Thanks for any help.

Hello, What would cause the board to come to a complete stop and the battery light blinks 7 times? The board is fully charged according to the charger. It is the battery light blinking not the round power light. Also the board is hardly used basically new. Thanks

yes the quality of part was the issue. very rare you need to replace both sensors and logicboard

So I recently bought a hover board from a friend, I don't know what brand it is, all I know it's the one with the "Mercedes" wheels, and I opened it up and saw that there was a wire not connected to anything, but when I ride the board it works fine like as if that wire doesn't effect the board at all , but I really just want to know where that wire goes, it's a black and red one from the mother board and they are pretty thin wires

You might have bad battery, check for voltage of battery at least leave in plug over night. My does.

My board works just fine except it seems that when I ride it the left blue LED light doesn't light up even half as brightly as the right LED light... Is this an issue with the internal workings or is one of the lights just blown or something? Please help!
once i switch it on, i put force on any of the pedal it moved once then i put force again on any other side it wouldn't move. then i switched off and turned on again. same thing repeated again.May i know whats the problem please? thanks
