Top 10 favorite game. Played it since season 1. Favorite load out is the protocol v and the harpy. It’s a shame it shut down as it was easily one of my favorite games.
Heyo, ex Hyper Scape player here (servers shut down on April 28th 2022 in case you didn't hear) and just wanted to add to your video. Lack of player interest wasn't the only thing that killed the game. Ubisoft is to blame more than anything for ignoring the core audience and inplementing a number of changes that NOBODY asked for, ruining establushed mechanics in the process or outright removing some. As well as the horrendous console launch on August 11th 2020. The game simply did not work with a controller for the first month and a half of the game's full release, and the majority of the playerbase of course won't stick around that long. No crossplay at launch, and wasted hype in twitch streams rather than actual advertisement. Most people I guarentee have never heard of Hyper Scape, and if they had, it was most likely through Ubisoft Connect rather than an actual ad. Sorry for the long comment, I can elaborate further if you'd like, but too much was done wrong to the title for it to carry on- even if there was interest

Some more stuff: The servers were weak and had lags (my connection was fine. My stream was running fine) and waiting in lobbies for 10 minutes or more. Then there were bugs where I could not shoot, interact, reload or hear anymore. This made me quit the game I was so much hyped for and sticked around with for a year. If these problems did not exist or were fixed, I would have still played it. I was checking the developers' and Hyperscape's twitter accounts regularly, but this issue was never adressed.
It's so sad for me that I feel like this game was made for me. I think it is my favorite game of all games. It's NEVER boring and so fast and fun. Only downside was the crown aspect of the finale. It's such a shame for me it died so soon.

Hyper Scape was amazing, the only BR that really got me to play. I loved the speed, the design, and the weapons. It just felt like Ubisoft didn't want this to succeed and wouldn't promote it. They didn't even try to put it on steam and it just slowly died and the people left. I miss it and wish it could get a better chance or redesign with more than just BR
Can we like start a petition to get servers back up cuz this was literally THE best most fun most satisfying game I have ever played. I was never mad when I died unlike every other battle Royale something about it just made me want more and more

After the death of Hyper Scape, I don't want to play shooters. And so at the moment I play Roller Champions, also a game from Ubisoft. The idea is interesting, the implementation is bad, I think this game will also die.

I tried playing Hyperscape 3 separate times and was met with an ORCHID-something error code each time. I never actually dropped in. Slowly even forgot about its existence.
I played this a lot with my mates but the only reason we left was because the queue times took to long for us and the lobbies had like only thirteen people so we just had to change but if hyper got a comeback I would jump back in and enjoy btw good video lad
This was my favorite online game ever. The only reason I stopped playing was because the game would start with just half the map avalible and that kindof ruined the fun for me.
And with XDefiant I am scared what will happen to that one. Ubisoft has a habbit of ditching games. I hope at least one game they make nowdays will stay supported.
I honestly loved playing the game and is not a doubt my number 1 favorite battle royals. It’s just something about the game that made me feel a way. The sound track gave me a nostalgic feeling out of no where , I love thinking about the future and HS had what I wanted in a br (fast and futuristic) if they added more weapons and nerf weapons it would make it much better
This game was good until console players were forced to play in PC lobbies and PC players were dropping 40 kills a lobby. Me and all my friends immediately left the game and never looked back.
I still remember when it came out me and my friends played on ps4 but we dropped it quickly even tho it was fun because of how little people play it. I enjoyed it cause my favourite stuff in games is movement which hyperscape had on lock but since my friends didn't play because of low players and as such I didn't either so we just played apex.
I believe there was a huge game that was dropping around the same time as Hyperscape (can't remember what game) and I noticed how so many people started dropping this game and forgot about it. It really sucks cause this game was so fun but after awhile you couldn't have a proper match when you only start with like 9 other players. even with streamers like Tfue playing this game, it wasn't able to regain it's former players or build a bigger fanbase.
Me and my friends played this all the time, the game was perfect but the poor decisions by Ubisoft killed the game slowly and for me and my friends, the final nail in the coffin was the aim assist for kbm, which I don't think need to go into detail about why that's a terrible idea, but yeah, if they just went the normal route that any other game would which would just be adding content, as new maps, new weapons, new abilities, etc... the game definitely would still be around today.

The ripper is literally the R-301, the harpy is the alternator, the riot one was the wingman. (All from Apex} and OMG dont even get me started with how good the firefly and protocol felt....
I think they should have promoted it more before dropping. Because they dropped during warzones peak if they dropped it now I think everyone in warzone would switch to hyper scape because it's falling apart
Let this be known. This game didn’t die just because everyone quit playing even though a lot of people did just quit playing. This game had a solid community and met a bunch of pro hyper scape players but what killed this game was a very crappy update in season 2 that made the gameplay awful. 5 seconds without taking damage before regenerating to 15 seconds and a slower process of regenerating Making guns more stronger (there was a 3 shot explosive weapon) Made hacks terrible or overpowered
@@PlayGreatGames If I had to guess, it was probably because most people were saying it was too fast and guns felt like they were shooting sponge bullets, fights lasting too long since you’d have to chase people around the map. When this update happened, everyone hated it and they took way too long to fix it that most of the community moved on. I loved everything about the game and I knew games like hyper scape don’t last very long but man I never thought they would literally kill their own game.

I played it with my friends, but the game was too fast for us, we died all the time. Then we just switched back to Warzone. I enjoyed the fast gameplay. I also like osu and sonic games. But just being a target is no fun.

Hyperspace was a br that I always played and then it updated to where if you played solo the map had some areas missing
