I'm inclined to believe that Arknights has a really big casual community. The phenomenal music is great for drawing interest (I've heard it being used in non-gacha videos more than a few times) and the character designs are overall more palatable to people who aren't deep in the gacha well.

She's POT 1 I got Nian on Dusk's banner by some lucky miracle, and used her as my main tank along with Hoshiguma for the majority of the story 💪 I did not manage to get Ling on her banner... 💀 I got two Lee's instead 😭 I wanted Ling so bad that I whaled to do 300 pulls on Chongyue so I could spark her. I got him POT 4, and I got my Ling 😍 I got Shu POT 2 without any issues in a fairly low amount of pulls. I love the Sui siblings the most out of all Arknights factions, and will continue collecting them ALL, no matter the cost 🙏
To be honest, the easiest way to estimate is through the RA boss fight info. Since it can only accomplish one time for everyone, you can easily get a total active player by the number of boss fight divide by the percentage accomplished. Though not many would do RA, and the number will be lower, but it definitely is a sure estimation, instead of guessing about how many people not have Sui siblings.
By lurkers, you could also add people who like to listen to the music of Arknights rather than play the game. There's also the abundance of artists on X, Pixiv, Bluesky, etc. Who makes tons of fanart of Arknights characters. It's really hard to say how much of the global audience actually plays the game or even realizes where this music or art comes from. This niche little TD fantasy anime game isn't to everyone's taste. But I sure as hell bet that the game's music has reached many people's playlists and libraries. ❤

For example, total number of fights/operations is around 5,6 billion, meanwhile my stats in the web event is around 7k operations (with almost perfect attendance of 359 days). Assuming this as the average number for each player in EN server, I'd say there's around 800k active players which is a good amount. Compare that to the KR server that got 1,4 billion operations across the server, I think EN server is still the biggest server after JP (excluding CN)

If I would take a shot in the dark, I would feel the amount of players who own all five siblings is in the single digits - I'd lean towards the 5% range myself. The thing about owning all the Sui siblings is the fact it's easiest to get them all if you've been playing since near the launch of the game. Players who are trying to get the collection in the third year or onward will have trouble getting them unless they get lucky / manage their pulls to aim for them specifically / whale hard since you either need to get lucky or spark them. The other side of the coin is the fact that players who may have started at launch may have taken breaks at times where they would roll for the Sui, thus reducing the player count further. I do think it's a neat statistic and I would be curious just what % of the active player base AND total created account that 36,356 represents. I would define active as someone who's been logging in once daily or perhaps every other day for at least a month in this case just to give it a baseline.
I did order the CN Terra Book. It's unfortunate that there's no EN version, but I'll probably be getting JP book since I can read JP somewhere at between basic and intermediate level.
