@@NKjia From my understanding yes, because the banner itself doesnt have the 1st time pity and 2nd guaranteed pity like genshin/hsr/zzz. It followed the rules of Arknights, where you always have the chance of losing 50/50. But you're guaranteed to get a rate up at 120 pulls. Also the dupes are not a huge huge huge huge important, it followed original Arknights. Potentials (dupes) can provide good powerup but is not a must have to unlock ''Kits''. Just like in AK, you get the character, you unlocked it for the 100% of the gameplay.
So for that 120 guaranteed (1 time), does that mean its 120 guaranteed rate up for the first 6* on every banner? or is it just the first ever 120 guaranteed rate up, and then its the trashy 50/50? and the wording is a bit iffy, but does the 120 count reset when you get a 6*? by that i mean lets say i get a 6* and its the rate up at 90 pulls, do i get another rate up after 30 pulls?

For the second question, you can see it in the video. The 120 is hard pity for your first copy. After Kyo rolled Laevatain naturally, the hard pity disappeared from the banner. In short, after the first copy you have to win the 50/50s to get more potentials

I hope Endfield will allow us to change which operators we want to have them in different languages just like in OG Arknights. So far GFL:2 and Endfield shaping up to the best graphics you can get in a mobile PC hybrid game.

Fyi (no clue if it's gonna change or not in Global Release) : U got 5* when - the middle one shines yellow, less bright - Other rockets still have blue colour, or one of them can be yellow too if u got more then one. Otherwise it still blue for the rest You got 6* when - The explosion light so bright of orange (Think fast chucklenuts!) - Other Rockets become orange too, not literally got another 6* it can be 5*, but the flash from middle rockets almost covers the rest of the rockets
For the 6* Ten-Pull, the planet under the space station was also brighter as well (don’t know if that corresponds with 6* or the real-time it was pulled at)
I think they compesate the lower gacha odds with the weapon gacha system. Basically it replace the green certs. So you don't have to save premium currecy for weapon, just roll for character as usual and chanches are you are getting the corresponding weapon because you will generally spend more pulls chasing single character.
You also got to understand they won't really be releasing new characters as fast as OG arknights since it'll take longe to develop characters for a game like this, meaning more time to get resources for pulls and if they follow the OG arknights then getting said resources shouldn't be too bad. At least that's what I believe.
@@GranMaj but here's the thing though, with the rates for the weapon that I've seen people talk about, the weapon acquisition system basically incentivizes you to pull more and more on the characters just for a slim chance to get the weapon you want or need so it's almost like a trap designed to get you to spend way more than you need on the character banners. Unless the weapons doesn't matter as much in this game then I don't really see how this is much better than using the same pull currency as the character banners for weapons in the first place
@@cosmicse_r_pent that's why you have to be smart about it. From what I see, you get around 20 weapon pulls for every 65 character pulls assuming you get the *6 around that point. So you will get guaranteed *6 weapon pity around 150 character pulls, because weapon pulls only need 40 pulls to hit pity, which is around when you get the character you want (50% chances for the banner character so worst case scenario you will need to spend 120 pulls). So you are insensitive to do bulk pull, just like arknights. Also, the weapon could be bad or not worth the pull, or the lower rarity weapon is comparable, so you don't have to pull for the weapon for every new character.
This looks awesome, feels very grand when you pull for a 6-star. And they finally added skipping the animations for individual character without having for them to finish their line like in Arknights 😭
Some criticism since its beta, The colors of the 6* and 5* on the gacha animation blend in way too much with each other that its hard to tell what rarity it is when they land. 5* yellow glow is stonger than the 6* red, they should really emphasize it more or lower the glow strength of the 5* to let you know that you got the 6* for hype reasons

When the rocket is still in the air it could give the player a hint at the possible rarity. Once it land's thats when you get the confirmation. If the pull was indeed a 6* then before it fell, it could have a different animation, just like how we have yellow and red flameish bag.
As someone that has played AK, basically since release, the gacha rates/pity system (no 50/50 then guranteed) is really killing this for me. To make matters worse the weapon banner is only a 25/75 and pulls for that come from character banner pulls. HG is going to have to be quite generous with monthly free gacha pulls.
I would take arknights gacha system anyday everyday over the 50/50 system from har genshin and zzz In arknights with 150 pulls you might not get the 6 star u want but you would definitely get like 3 or 4 6 stars In hsr/genshin with 150 pulls you might get nothing except some useless 4 stars and 1 useless standard 5 star
Its already generous enough the fact that we dont have to waste the gacha coin on weapons like hoyo games do. If genshin had that system, polearm characters would have more f2p friendly choices than just favonius lance or dragon's bane.
@brittle1 Yes, but the Characters and Weapons are on DIFFERENT banners. You won't get cheated out of a 6 star character by pulling a 6 star weapon. You won't get the bad feeling of pulling for a character and only seeing 1 character and a bunch of junk weapons.
This really needs more 4* operators. We are going to get them all to full potential on the first 30 minutes of playing. 6* operators going down from 2% to 0.8% hurts a lot.

@ikiraakatricky Personally the pulling animation is indeed the best compared to other games, especially if you like how clean arknight UI and design. But for character introduction I would say wuwa and gfl2 are better.
Unless the rate at which you gain pulls is enough to at least be able to hit the 120 guarantee just barely between versions. I’m just the slightest bit worried about the fact that if you got guarantee, it won’t transfer over to the next banner, that’s a change I can’t exactly get myself behind and say I like.
Yeah they really need to fix the pity and make it carry over, also lower the cost per-pull, and maybe make hard pity 90 like other gachas, but the hard pity can stay 120 if they fix the first two issues, and if they give enough pulls to justify the higher hard pity. I love the OG Arknights but this one is competing with some very heavy hitters, aka Genshin, WuWa and later Ananta, i don't play any of those games (nor do i plan to) but no one can deny that they have a lot of dedicated fans (and Ananta hasn't even released yet, so the fanbase is probably gonna grow even more if they don't screw up the launch), so i really don't want Endfield to fuck up, i genuinely wanna play this game and enjoy it, i hope it gets fixed and improved
120 pity on a 0.80% chance for a six star with a 50/50 system. As someone who played the first AK since launch on global I think I won't be playing Endfield if this stays.
I think it is important to note that it is an 80 pull pity, the 120 is to 100% guarantee the banner character. This is much better than the Arknights 300 pulls to guarantee a character. But yeah, it's a better system than say, Hoyo games, where pity is 90, and Guarantee is 180.
The main question is actually how to get this currency to pull. 5000 for 10 pull is kinda too expensive tho since this game is open world, getting tired to farm for gacha currency @ziitania9939
I kinda wish the animations were more flashy for opening the drops, the backdrop at the end with all the shadows in front of the rarity is cool though!
So the gacha system is pseudo spark (like fgo) + normal pity huh Pseudo spark as in you'll get the highest rarity rate up character once you reach a certain number of rolls (120 in this case) which is why they don't get carried over (normal spark is like BA Nikke or Cygames game where you got currency to trade in the character)
Yeah, it seems like the gacha system discourages player from getting multiple copies of the same character since you only have guarantee one time. Hopefully the dupe system is insignificant like arknights.
It's just the normal Arknights system but with worse numbers: 0.8% instead of 2% and pity starts at 65 instead of 50 (although it scales faster). The guaranteed at 120 in normal banners got added in year 3 or 4 if I recall correctly.
I hope it would be as cheap as arknights wherein you just have to pull for an operator once and be done with it. I love arknights because i only need to invest on double op and monthly head hunting + monthly card and still be able to get 100% operator collection

Man the guaranteed feature character pity not carrying over between banners suck... It kinda incentiveses players to stockpile all the way to 120 and NEVER summon on any banner until they can 100% guarantee it, or you risk losing several 50/50s in a row. I hope they give a lot of free currency, because otherise wating until you have 120 before you can even start pulling (except while rerolling) is gonna be a pain.

honestly prefer Arknight's system compared to the most used Hoyo gacha system every other gacha game uses nowadays, plus if it's anything like old Arknights, I can rest easy knowing the 5* are still gonna be usable and hopefully a Myrtle-Bennett situation happens again
so mostly you'll get 6* operator at 60-70th pull (7th ten-pull), but if your unlucky you'll get it on 8th ten-pull but 50:50, if you lose 50:50 you need to do 4x more ten-pull to guaranteed get banner operator. Now the question is... is the gacha currency farmable and easy to get ?
@ yep, I play it for 5 years already (happy 5th anniv btw). That's what i'm talking about. In AK it's 2% and 3000 orundum (5 pulls) weekly for f2p. In Endfield it should be minimum 10 pulls weekly because of existence of weapon banner. AND potentials in Endfield is much more important than in AK. Will HG give 10 pulls weekly? Heck no. And that's what i'm saying: if gacha in Endfield is not as bad as in genshin, so it should be minimum 2%.

But still, the rate is really low, but after 65 pulls, it'll increase 5% each ten pulls, so yep, 70-80 if lucky, 120 if unlucky. Plus, I do see a ytb can get at least three operators in f2p within 3 days, so I think the gacha currency hard to tell it's easy to get but at least farmable.
The animation and music is cool, but I think Arknights really was onto something with the interactive zipper. That and Nikke's similar mechanic makes the gacha much more fun to pull imo.

The huge rainbow explosion is big enough difference on the landing. What I do think is too similar is the trails they leave when dropping down.

Unless the rate at which you gain pulls is enough to at least be able to hit the 120 guarantee just barely between versions.
I’m just the slightest bit worried about the fact that if you got guarantee, it won’t transfer over to the next banner, that’s a change I can’t exactly get myself behind and say I like.
Yeah they really need to fix the pity and make it carry over, also lower the cost per-pull, and maybe make hard pity 90 like other gachas, but the hard pity can stay 120 if they fix the first two issues, and if they give enough pulls to justify the higher hard pity.
I love the OG Arknights but this one is competing with some very heavy hitters, aka Genshin, WuWa and later Ananta, i don't play any of those games (nor do i plan to) but no one can deny that they have a lot of dedicated fans (and Ananta hasn't even released yet, so the fanbase is probably gonna grow even more if they don't screw up the launch), so i really don't want Endfield to fuck up, i genuinely wanna play this game and enjoy it, i hope it gets fixed and improved

120 pity on a 0.80% chance for a six star with a 50/50 system. As someone who played the first AK since launch on global I think I won't be playing Endfield if this stays.
I think it is important to note that it is an 80 pull pity, the 120 is to 100% guarantee the banner character.
This is much better than the Arknights 300 pulls to guarantee a character.
But yeah, it's a better system than say, Hoyo games, where pity is 90, and Guarantee is 180.

So the gacha system is pseudo spark (like fgo) + normal pity huh
Pseudo spark as in you'll get the highest rarity rate up character once you reach a certain number of rolls (120 in this case) which is why they don't get carried over (normal spark is like BA Nikke or Cygames game where you got currency to trade in the character)
Yeah, it seems like the gacha system discourages player from getting multiple copies of the same character since you only have guarantee one time.
Hopefully the dupe system is insignificant like arknights.

It's just the normal Arknights system but with worse numbers: 0.8% instead of 2% and pity starts at 65 instead of 50 (although it scales faster).
The guaranteed at 120 in normal banners got added in year 3 or 4 if I recall correctly.

Man the guaranteed feature character pity not carrying over between banners suck... It kinda incentiveses players to stockpile all the way to 120 and NEVER summon on any banner until they can 100% guarantee it, or you risk losing several 50/50s in a row.
I hope they give a lot of free currency, because otherise wating until you have 120 before you can even start pulling (except while rerolling) is gonna be a pain.

so mostly you'll get 6* operator at 60-70th pull (7th ten-pull), but if your unlucky you'll get it on 8th ten-pull but 50:50, if you lose 50:50 you need to do 4x more ten-pull to guaranteed get banner operator. Now the question is... is the gacha currency farmable and easy to get ?

@ yep, I play it for 5 years already (happy 5th anniv btw). That's what i'm talking about. In AK it's 2% and 3000 orundum (5 pulls) weekly for f2p. In Endfield it should be minimum 10 pulls weekly because of existence of weapon banner. AND potentials in Endfield is much more important than in AK. Will HG give 10 pulls weekly? Heck no. And that's what i'm saying: if gacha in Endfield is not as bad as in genshin, so it should be minimum 2%.
