Eliaquim Mangala (born 13 February 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester City and the France national football team as a central defender. Mangala made his debut with the French national team team on 6 June 2013 against Uruguay, and was included in the nation's squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He holds a Belgian passport having lived in the country since he was five.
On 11 August 2014, Mangala signed for English club Manchester City on a five-year contract, for a reported £32 million transfer fee.

I'm a chelsea fan but I've been dying to see this video. I thought Mangala's perfomance against chelsea was the best I've seen from a centre back in some time. He has the total package.

I must say I loved the video, I liked it before actually watching it, the song fits perfect for mangala, I'm a city fan from Los Angeles California, I always wake up super early to see man city play I just love that team so much, been a follower since claudio Reyna used to play with them, I must also say thank you to Manuel pellegrini because not even Mancini couldn't find what we need it, pellegrini found everything out team needs to success, sadly vs Chelsea we didn't get the 3 points but no worries, the league berly started, even though we tied, but I must say man city surely deserved the 3 points only because of zaba's red card screwed us over, and last thing to say, Diego Who? #CTID

he is worth that money...hope so....I think he will be able to win more trophies and achieve glory for man city,...It shows that he is world class defender..he is born to be a world class defender just like kompany.,...when man city paid 32 million for him..for a defender...it means that player has quality to compete with other world class players.... just look at aguero...they spend big money on him....Man city are brilliant on their business......for a team just like man city...of course they have quality.....the quality to compete with other top clubs....others club spend big money too....but...they have not shown the consistensy the way they are playing just like tottenham..they spend big money last summer,,,but they cannot still win any silverware....man city is not always about money...it is about how to have quality to play...that is why u need quality....when u spend big on him...u believe he can make impact at the highest level....that is what man city learn.....
We made mistakes by buying player like Robinho and Santa Cruz for stupid amounts of money and evidently we've learnt from it. We buy quality player now in the positions we need them, no panic buying like United anymore.

I can see Mangala in a left full back role in the future, because Clichy and Kolarov are getting older, and we have promising centre backs in our academy like Denayer (currently on loan at Celtic and plays great) and Rekik at PSV...great video as always :)
I know he plays his best at a CB position but i can see a lot of prospect in that position in our team... i also saw Mangalas talent as an attacking force in some Porto matches, i think he could easily replace Clichy, maybe just not as fast as Clichy...he got a great ball control, as a defender its something unusual... but we will see i just hope we will give some chance to our youth player and not always just buy, and we have really promising footballers in our youth squad (Denayer, Rekik, Lopes, Pozo, Icheanacho, there was also Suarez but unfortunately he was selled to Barca a year ago i think) and many more will come....

Looks like a complete cb. Got plenty of strength, pace, and awareness. I was shocked when I first saw the transfer fee especially that he isn't backed by a glorious CV but as is the case nowadays young players are valued based on their potential not their achievements. In that sense, he seems well worth the money.

he can be a world class defender....as long as he learned from his mistakes that he had done and get experiences from playing alongside kompany....I always believe that experience is the best teacher....he should improve his weakness which he loved to dribble the ball when one on one vs striker and get forward more often...that is not good for a defender......man city always plays as a team.....
