This video shows best what almost any other video doesn't. Thiago Silvas 1 vs 1 playing makes him the best defender in the world and probably best of all time. Ramos and Kompany are good in heading and tackling, but they consistently lose 1 vs 1 situations to attackers. Silva is good in heading and tackling too but he can also play wise without playing himself out in 1 vs 1 and usually outpossesses the attackers. Silva is also very good dribbler and passer, because he has been playing as a winger and fullback before coming to europe.
