Could you make a video on the best programming skills to learn? I always feel like there is so much too learn that I lose track of what to do first (For example fully understanding git or terminal ....)
Pick a language, write something that seems fun to you. Preferably small, doesn't matter what it is, how badly it's written or if you finish it. Repeat, until you feel like you can write an app to do anything you want. At this point you will probably have a good grasp of procedural code, variables, functions, classes etc Then learn the very basics of git, you will pick the rest up as you need it or your interest grows. Next start learning design patterns and how they can solve problems. Next look into functional programming. Next pick another language, you'll find it's mostly much of the same. From there you'll be experienced enough to know what it is you want/need to learn.
Hey Kevin, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
Dude, this is a cruel challenge. Of all the challenges related to computers, you chose the hardest one. There would be a better chance for them to somehow write out the perfect weights for a 100B neural net. PS: I'm writing this from VIM. Still not clear how I can leave this thing. I'm not sure how to load another page either, so if you can replace this video URL with a better guide, I would appreciate it.
Even making them understand how to quit vim was so confusing I started writing this comment 2 lines after i forgot how to exit Vim 💀🫠 Who even created vim dawg ,why is he motivating us to Never Quit 😭
real software engineers have four gfs

@@KevinNaughtonJr😂😂 yah in parallel universe
@@KevinNaughtonJrso its that movie trope where you date all of them but they only know you date 1 of them, i see
I had to immediately click as soon as I saw the title. There was no way they were winning that 1k. 😂
quitting vim is impossible 😂
I play a similarly difficultg game but it's called programmer tries to get gf

Oh man this is the most funniest (and surprisingly the cutest) video I’ve seen this week!

well, the start of exiting vim might be pressing exit? and then :wq?
I know it's an overdone joke, but this was actually fun to watch
This is such a random idea, but I’m interested 😂
thanks for checking it out :)
The best video so far lately 😂
Would Alt F4 count?
This is actually a genius idea 🤣

Try "exit" in quotes had me! 😂😂
they're creative 😂
Bro when did you change your girlfriend???
Hey Kevin I love your videos, by the way I'm an editor I want to edit your videos
Please create a video on exiting EMACS
Yeah. The only reason to know how to exit vi is when you opened it by mistake. Knowing how to exit emacs is actually useful.
its like if you were talking in chinese for them
“Copy this”
Copies insert
I spit my coffee, this was quality
haha thanks for checking it out Deni really appreciate it dude!
@@KevinNaughtonJr always my brother!
An old meme, but fun nevertheless! 😁
o7 to the creator of Vim
Pressing enter multiple times will get cursor to - - INSERT - -, What? 😂😂😂😂
OMG
Make videos applying Computer Science!! It would be great to see it :D
How to live with 4 gfs as a millionaire 😮
😂😂
😂
they're hilarious 🤣
:q or :q! does it too
ZZ is fastest
Are you still friends with them?
🤣
thanks for watching!
Yeah, vi and vim suck. Use ed if you really want hard-to-use programs.
You are evil 😂
i blame vim 🤣
women😂
Please don’t do this kind of nonsense… don’t blindly follow clicks… there really is enough “gf clickbait” trash out there
This comment but replace gf with vim
To quit vim you must first invent the Universe.
